Really, it doesn’t get tipped over. Now I just have to work on the kids not overfilling it. Perfect sized bowl for the average guinea pig, holds all the pellet food she needs for the day to go along with her hay. No suction, but the design works well. She no longer dumps out the dish daily (hasn’t yet in the few months we have been using this for). Doesn’t chew it much either. Hard plastic is easy to wipe down each litter change. We also love the bigger size bowl for the 2 boys housed in a separate cage.

These bowls are perfect for your guinea pigs! They’re just the right size and are definitely not getting tipped over anytime soon. Also made out of a good material! Perfect for your piggies who love to tip over their bowls.

Definitely tip-proof as described. We've had this for about a year now and our guinea pig has never tipped or flipped it over, he was able to flip over two different heavy ceramic bowls we tried. For a little guy he is quite strong. The only thing I dislike about this is the brand name is engraved into it causing debris to build up in the letters but I'm able to clean it out with a scrub brush so it's not an issue.

In less than 6 months I have chipped/cracked 3 ceramic bowls used to feed my 2 guinea pigs. Total investment: $10-12. Two were purchased on Amazon; the other at the local pet store. I bought one STAYbowl to try it out. Initial investment: $13. Despite the higher initial cost vs. ceramic, STAYbowl is an excellent solution for my piggies, who are not necessarily bowl-tippers. The bowl is sturdy, perfectly sized for the guinea pig physique and holds just the right amount of pellets for daily portion control. I am very impressed and won’t go back to ceramic bowls. I gave this product 4 stars because of tendency of my pigs to pee on the base, so I feel the need to wash the bowl every day instead of every other day with ceramic. Highly recommended, just wish it was available at a lower price to have backups while one is in the dishwasher. For amusement, when you are unboxing the STAYbowl, gather your family members and play What Is It? I had some good natured fun with my family. (STAYbowl is NOT a toilet flange or a Hatchimal nest, although those were good guesses)

I bought this for my hedgehog who has a habit of tipping his water bowl over all the time. He would put his front two paws on the bowl in an attempt to hoist himself up (I'm speculating here) and then tip it over. This bowl is short enough that he can easily drink, and he stands on the base part while doing so, making it very difficult to tip (I think I just heard him mutter "challenge accepted"...) I was concerned that it wouldn't be enough water, but let's be honest, he's little. Can't comment on other small animals and their drinking habits, but it is good for my 1 pound hedgie. I'll probably buy another so that I can switch them out instead of washing daily.

My piggy flipped it within 5 minutes of me putting it in his cage.

It's well made. Has a very wide base that should make it very difficult to tip over. However, my guinea pigs find it very entertaining to flip their dishes and roll them down the ramp. It only took them one day to figure out this bowl.

Works as expected, my guinea pig hasn't been able to flip this over. He also hasn't been able to chew on it. The bowl doesn't hold a lot of food though, if you are looking for something with a large capacity.

It’s a great bowl that doesn’t tip over. Less mess to clean up.

Man this is a GOOD bowl! My guinea pig, Jake, is known for flipping his bowl. We've tried EVERYTHING but he always manages to flip the bowl. I’ve tried the bowl in the corner, buying the things for the bird cages that attach to the side of the cage, and even putting a hole in the top floor of the cage and putting the bowl in there but he would go under it and push it. He always figured out how to make a mess in a matter of minutes, but it has been a whopping record breaking 24 hours and he still did not tip over the stay bowl. It is very easy to clean and the portion control is great for my piggy. I'm sure this would work great for hedge hogs, hamsters chinchillas, and rabbits too. So BUY THIS BOWL FOR YOUR FUR BABIES!

They don’t flip easily, but stuff gets in the little spots, like where the logo is.
