Slime 20088 Valve Tool, 4-Way, Plus Valve Cores for all types of Tire

This worked well in replacing the core on a riding mower wheel. The only problem was that it didn’t remove part of the inner core. Very difficult to get it out. There are no instructions. I guess if it removes the core then it is self explanatory? Still would have been nice to have instructions and troubleshooting tips for those times when it doesn’t go as planned.

Go ahead and get this and put it in your glove box, also opt for the SLIME Patch repair kit, I've found that these SLIME products are very well-made and designed for tires (even non-car tires like lawn mowers etc). You can also verify if your Hank Schrader valve is leaking by spraying some soapy water on it and checking for bubbles. Good product, and I appreciate how it's made out of a non-ferrous metal (assuming Aluminum by the looks of it)

I'm amazed that such an inexpensive device can cause one to question who they are, why they are where they are and what they are doing with their time on this earth. Clearly, Slime thought of everything with this kit. I bought this as my new EV had a leaking valve stem core. Without a service center nearby and being told our local mobile repair technician wasn't capable of such a complex fix, I weighed the 3 hour one-way drive vs the cost of this purchase. Should I drive 6 hours and have the dealer replace the core? Or should I really put under $3 into a new car and save the trip? It was a hard choice, but I decided to splurge on this purchase. With the spare time not investing almost 7 hours into driving to my nearest service center, I had dinner with my family. I told my spouse about having to buy this kit. My 6-year old detected I was upset at the cost but confidently reassured me she had the money in her piggy bank to cover this. I felt reassured. I was in the middle of other home improvement projects the Saturday this arrived. No worries, I'll have the core swapped in 5 minutes and be back on my way I thought. I was wrong... Removal of the core wasn't terrible, it came out with relative ease. Installing the new core, however, was met with an issue. I know I used my good arm, my right arm, which has far more strength than my left. But I didn't think it was strong enough to snap the head off the valve core. Even better, this was leaking still. A quick search on a popular video site showed numerous people explaining how to remove and completely replace the stem - and that I would need to remove the tire and abort this whole process given the broken core. I found one person in an impoverished country with a better idea though. He showed how you could drill out the core and fit a 90 degree bend over the old valve stem with a pre-installed core. For someone forced to think outside the box, he lacked my formal education and gave me a better idea. I found drill bits smaller than the width of the core and proceeded to slowly and carefully drill out the center of the core. Upon doing this, the center part of the core came out leaving a small ring of the core left screwed in place. I then took the tool in this kit and used the reverse threaded reamer to carefully grab hold of the remaining core. Admittedly, doing this required a little force. Again, my right arm came through. However, my strength overpowered the tool and the poor crimp in the middle caused the tool now gripping the core to break in two. Frustrated but undeterred, I took a wrench to twisted the remaining core out. Amazingly, installing the second core resulted in the exact same experience despite only having half the tool. I then had to work this magic a second time, cutting my right hand on the frayed metal of the tool. While installing the third core, I was very careful on tightening. This time, the core held and the top did not break. Filling up with air, I was back in business having done what the entire Internet said was impossible (except for the foreigner who cheated with his ricer valve extension job). I proceeded to Amazon as I was upset the tool broke. The cores breaking - sure, whatever. I get it, my right arm is jacked. I mean, for a guy who literally works behind a computer all day and types 120+ WPM, I know I can put out some power. But the tool breaking? Nah, I want an exchange - heck, I'd even send back 4 cores from the replacement kit. The good news? While this product shows it can be returned in cases where it's damaged, etc that's as much a lie as you need a new valve stem when your core breaks inside the valve stem. The options to return this unit do not permit you to select the product is damaged. I am left with a broken tool... and one remaining core. My six year old was displeased as I had to explain the value of money and why I took the less than $3 sum from her piggy bank. As she wiped the tears from her eyes, I swore I would write a review to warn others of this wretched product.

Herramienta pequeña, resistente y muy funcional para válvula schrader o también conocida como válvula gorda. Yo en mi caso la compré para poderle poner Slime Sellador de Camaras a mi bicicleta. La verdad desconocía que el sellador en su tapa traía una herramienta para realizar el mismo trabajo, pero no me arrepiento de haberla comprado, ya que la calidad del removedor hace que valga la pena. Otro punto a considerar es el hecho que traiga 4 repuestos para tu válvula, en caso que alguna esté dañada.

Outil qui fonctionne à merveille. Indispensable pour tout propriétaire de véhicule. Coût raisonnable et livraison rapide. Excellente transaction !!!
