To use with my Otterbox case with the built-in Pop Socket, I was easily able to remove the silicone holder from the AC vent attachment and place it on a flexible arm suctioned to the windscreen in my car. It was easy to change because of the ball socket. It has held up really well for a couple years, and I love how easy it is to use. Easy on and off, but holds onto the phone really nicely. Hasn't ever fallen off the holder.

I purchased this after my magnetic pop socket and vent holder from Walmart lost all adhesion. I loved that vent holder because the magnet was very strong and supported the phone vertical and horizontal. I looked for a few different variations of that type of holder but knowing the magnet adhesive may fail i opted to look into this vent holder for a standard pop socket and it delivered. This mount is fully adjustable and support phone movement from within the vent. The twist locking feature is a bit weird at first but pretty simple once you read the instructions. I installed it in my car in just a few minutes. It works great! It held the weight of my rather heavy iphoneX with a case. I would recommend this vent holder as one of the best. Time will ultimately tell how it compares to my previous holder but it looks pretty good so far. Highly recommend.

A little weak

This pop-tech air vent phone holder is amazing! It is super easy to install in a car and the rotation it provides is great. The holder keeps my phone right where I need it to be. I highly recommend anyone this holder for anyone who has a need for a socket mount.

I needed something that was compatible with my phone case & pop socket so I didn't have to keep taking my phone out of the case - the only thing is because it's secured to my vent, it flops down bc the phone is heavy... good for immediate to short term solution, we will see how it holds up in the long run
