It does not smell bad. It is much more effective than generic versions. It is high quality and well worth the money.

My doctor told me to use Cortisone 10 for a skin issue, but when I tried the cream version, it caused a strong burning sensation that was really uncomfortable. I've never expected this ointment to be much better than it says. No smell, it stops the itch and the discomfort quickly. Unsurprisingly, it also repairs the damaged skin, like a rash, redness. The 2oz size is pretty good! Someone said the box is not strong enough, which I totally agree with. But as a matter of the effectiveness of the itch relief, it's perfect for me.
