Mold!
I purchased this mattress in September 2017. In July 2018 (less than a year after owning this mattress) I noticed there was mold on the underside of it. I immediately reached out to Amazon who told me I would need to reach out to the manufacture LUCID since the warranty was directly through them. I wasn't at all worried and thought I would receive warm and helpful customer service given the previous reviews I read but that is not at all what happened. My first response from the vendor asked to know what type of base I was using (as wood based can cause mold) and asked for pictures of my base. That is completely understandable to validate that I was using the appropriate base. I sent them a picture of the metal base I was using so they knew that was not the cause of the mold. From there I was then told that since I had my mattress for 10 months (even though they know from the beginning how long I had my mattress) that I was responsible for the mold because mold can be caused by spills, accidents, or sweat and my warranty was no longer valid as it was my fault. Here is where I got frustrated. First they wanted to assume I was using an inappropriate base, then they blamed the mold on something else when that proved not true. So do they just look for ways to make your warranty void? They offered to send me a free waterproof mattress protector but I had already purchased the waterproof protector and had been using it since day 1. I've haven't spilled anything on my mattress nor have their been any accidents. So this left sweat as a potential culprit. I am utterly appalled that a mattress company expects it's consumers to never get hot in the middle of the night of they'll suffer the repercussions of moldy mattress and an invalid warranty. It just goes to show how little faith they have in their own product if that is the case. I took all the steps necessary to ensure proper care of the mattress I purchased but I am still at fault according to them.I am still waiting to hear back per my last email but so far the best they've offered to assist me is 50% off a new mattress. The last thing I want is to waste even more money on a mattress that seems inevitable to grow mold no matter what precautions you take.

Lol this is firm?
Hmm yea that's a finger with maybe twenty or twenty-five pounds of pressure on a "firm" mattress. I'm 220 pounds I'd guess my gut is holding about 50-75 pounds so to put it in perspective my legs are the left and my head is the right. of the high points of the letter V when I'm laying on my Belly..... it's almost like my head is at ten inches my legs are at ten inches and my belly sinks the mattress down so much it's at maybe three inches left very uncomfortable. Unfortunately this isn't for me and with the good reviews maybe I got a dud. But I'll be returning it and trying a different brand as. Nothing about this mattress is firm.

and I LOVE them. One was Memory Foam and the other ...
I bought this mattress about a year ago. Over the past couple weeks I noticed that my husband and I would be finding ourselves sunken in the middle of the mattress. Even to a point where my husband found his feet elevated in the morning. I am also now finding the same issue occurring with my sons mattress. he is a little lighter, so it appears the problem just takes a little longer to show up. After contacting customer services and doing a song and dance on submitting MANY different types of pictures, I was told that my 1.25 indent did not meet their 1.5" indent needed to get an exchange/Warranty policy I took this to their customer service management explaining that regardless of the stagnate indentation, we are still sinking to the middle while we sleep. Their response was basically &%*^ you, we feel our decision is "fair" and go buy yourself another mattress. I have purchased similar mattress in the past 10 years, and I LOVE them. One was Memory Foam and the other was an Italian Brand both of week I have 10 and 8 years respectively .... I would recommend a foam type mattress in a heart beat, I would just never recommend a Lucid mattress. Buyer beware. They do not stand behind their product

MOLD!!!
PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE FROM LUCID! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR "WARRANTY" I purchased two mattress from this company, a full size and queen size. The full size mattress, i purchased for my 11 year old daughter, became super stiff and hard just a couple of months of purchasing it. i contacted LUCID and they told me to "walk on it and put it under direct sun light," to make it soft again. The queen size mattress, i purchased it Nov. 2017, this weekend as i was cleaning and moving things around, i notice the bottom of the mattress was wet, and under the "water proof mattress cover" it was full of mold. Again, i contacted LUCID and was told that it was most likely a liquid spill or sweat, i told them i purchased the mattress cover bag and the water proof cover as recommended here. This is disgusting! ofcouse, LUCID blame us for it!

If it's too soft use the other side
I got the firm and found it very plush on the sleeping side of the mattress while it's comfortable to lay on to watch movies on the laptop it's not great for back sleepers this way. I ended up flipping the mattress and using the other side and I find it much better and firm this way. Seems as though the memory foam goes to waste this way but I find it quite comfortable this way so this is the way i'll use it. If you buy the mattress and find yourself with the same issue as myself give it a try. Not bad at all.
