The product came very nicely packaged. Every item that is presented in the picture is all included with purchase. Nothing came damaged. The initial scent of the product smelled like stale alcohol but did not last after taking it out of the packaging. The overall brush is easy to use. It turns on quickly. There are three buttons on the bottom (button to increase and decrease the temperature and the on/off button). The brush has a matte finish. The brush heats up VERY quickly (about 15-20 seconds). When turning off the brush, it does about 14-17 minutes to fully cooldown. The swivel cord is a neat addition to the brush but is definitely not necessary. The glove itself feels comfortable (the wrist part stretches which accommodates all hand sizes). In general, this product is very helpful and efficient. It left my hair feeling sleek and smooth. I would definitely recommend this product to my friends and family. I do not know whether this product will work with curly hair as my hair is naturally straight. I use a straightener just to ensure that the straightness of my hair stays that way for the entire day.

I got this product seeing the features section that it would work between 110v to 220v. But when I saw the product manual this works only at 120v..now I need 2 invest in a good voltage converter or I could have just purchased something that would work in India.. Please do not mislead.

I am a minimalist when it comes to hair styling. I minimize heat exposure and damaging treatments to my naturally straight hair. I use this brush when I want an extra polished and sleek look when I actually need to present for a professional meeting. I like this brush because it heats up to 350 or 375 in less than five minutes. I use a heat protection spray before I run this brush slowly through my hair for a few minutes, and it does a great job taming those few flyaway hairs and smoothing out any waviness from sleeping. I like that I'm done with my hair routine in just a few minutes while my hair remains looking sleek and straight for hours with no extra muss or fuss. I'm pleased with this item's performance. The only detraction I might have for the device was the mild smell of burning hair whenever I first started using it without any protective hair product. Once I added a few sprays of heat protection to my hair, that concerning smell went away.

Waste product

I thoroughly compared this model to the Amika brand carried by Sephora. I wanted the brand name one so bad but I would not allow myself to shell out $175 for a straightening brush when amazon carried a product that's identical for 1/3 of the price. I went back and forth for days, I even counted the number of bristles on each model, and looked at all the curves from all the angles. The only notable difference is Amika's is more chic looking colour-wise, and the Miropure is hot pink on the plates.This brand far outweighs Amika's reviews on Amazon.com, so in the end I decided to buy the off brand. First impressions: I wish Miropure didn't bother with the glove, it brought the aesthetic down for me and factored against me buying it rather than for because it makes the product feel cheap. The box it comes in is heavy duty and everything else feels quality. Use: I have long, fine wavy hair and lots of it (super thick!) I blew out my hair and brushed it before using the straightener. I'm skeptical that it actually reaches the full temperature in the time it says. It feels much hotter after 5 minutes than it does when it says it's ready. (Contrary to my very expensive GDH hair straightener which is ready in seconds and doesn't get any hotter over time). This brush does cut my time in half if not more, and leaves my hair with more volume than my straightener which is a nice look. It's not pin straight (it has some movement and volume) but I wasn't hoping it would be, I wanted this for every day smoothing and not special occasions. I can see myself using my straightener for special occasions and running this through after to make sure I got everything, as that can be tricky with so much hair. This brush really takes the guess work out of that. My hair was acceptably smoothed in under 10 minutes, which leaves this mama with more time for makeup (or coffee!) Overall I'm satisfied. The brand junkie in me still wants to buy the Amika just so I can compare the two in use but I doubt it gets any better than this. The only difference I could hope for would be Amika reaching actual temperature quicker and when it says it does. But for the $115 savings I don't mind letting it warm up for 5 minutes before using. Maybe I'll discover a friend who splurged so I can test it out without buying. I'd recommend this brush over the other in the mean time, for the price you really can't beat it.
