This device works for my 2014 Mercedes Benz c300!!! I did not have the NAV system in the car, I found this and it just livened up the car. With this update and was able to use my iPhone connected to the car. It works!!! So easy to install!!! Just retrieve the NAV computer from the glove compartment and replace with the CARABC Wireless CarPlay Fit. I had a little problem figuring out the audio in the car. I just plugged in an AUX cable and figured out how to find the audio, which was easy (albeit after you figure out the disk button on the radio is now Apple CarPlay ) but we got it to work. Now, the car finds the iPhone immediately upon entrance to the car via Bluetooth. Awesome system. Highly recommended. Added a BOYO license plate holder back up camera that I had on another car. Will keep you posted if anything negative happens !!

So I have a 2014 Mercedes Benz CLA250. The car is in impeccable condition and has very low miles. I bought it pre-wired for Becker Map Pilot but never bought the chip because I read the bad reviews. I got tired of using my phone for navigation and considered Google play or Apple play. So as I was getting my car re-tinted at a tint and auto Sound store, I asked the owner for a quote . The owner said that they could install Apple play but it would cost $1000 so I started researching. I wondered if there was a chip that I could install into the pre-wired Becker slot and voilà I found this one. I paid $219 for it, but I thought it was too good to be true. I read all the reviews and installation tips available online. I installed it in 15 minutes. No problem at all - literally a plug-and-play. I feel like I’ve made my car relevant again. Wow I am so pleased. My backup camera is independent and I had it installed by that same shop that quoted me $1000 and it worked just fine with the Apple play. I can’t get over how easy it was to install and how well it works. I was concerned that some people were struggling with it but they had earlier model Mercedes Benz . So I wonder if being an earlier model by just a year or two makes a difference. My experience was totally positive. I will update my review again after I’ve had it a while so far it’s only been installed eight hours, but I am very pleased.

The device connects easily but after fee weeks stops working. They don’t support the issues as well. Don’t recommend it at all.

This was so easy to install worth buying! I mostly bought it for the camera it's very clear and works well! Definitely recommend to buy if for android auto or apple car play.

Edit! It’s May 24th 2023and there are some issues..on android auto, calls are answered automatically before you have a chance to decline (this is not the case in other vehicles etc). CarPlay and Android Auto lose connection randomly as well. So minus 2 starsThe product works for what it’s supposed to do and at the price point..very easy set up etc..my issue is the audio quality is subpar at best. Calls are muffled (I bypass and use the headset) and there is no variable audio like in other cars (nav one volume musics another). When I say the audio is subpar I mean if your like me you can hear the pitch is off with the treble..hard to explain but it’s not overbearing…These vices aside I’m pleased with the purchase still…heads up android or apple if you use wireless connection be sure to have a charger the battery in your device will drain somewhat quickly especially on trips.

I have a 2014 C-class Mercedes, and was looking for alternatives at adding CarPlay. This system seemed to fit the bill, and it does work. HOWEVER, you need to make sure that you do everything properly for it to work. First, in your Mercedes, remove all existing Bluetooth connections. Then add this device, and make sure it connects. Then you have to connect your phone to this device as well. The issue I was having is that sometimes, one of these connections wouldn't be automatic. If your car doesn't connect to this device, go into the "Disc" function on the radio and connect to the last BT device. If your phone doesn't connect, open the settings on your phone and connect.Still, this is REALLY easy to install: no removing the radio, plugging in components, removing the dashboard components, and so on. It's literally a five minute installation process. You just unplug the Becker Pilot in your glove box if you have one, then plug in this and hook up the bluetooth connections. You absolutely must have the Becker slot. I'm not going to play around with a rear camera, so can't really comment on how well that works or doesn't work.But if you want carplay on your older Mercedes, this is the best way. I see that today, Amazon has a $20 off coupon for this device, which wasn't there a few days ago, so just be aware that sometimes they have this for $20 off.

I do not normally write reviews but this product deserves it. I recently bought a Mercedes CLA 250 2014 as a second car. One of the main things I hated about driving it was the lack of car play. This product changed the game. Literally the easiest set up ever. All you have to do is put plug it in the slot in the dash board, connect it to the cars gps, shut off the car. When you turn it back on, it will show on your phones blue tooth and wallah, you have car play. Worth every penny. I can’t believe I was about to pay the same amount for a module that would have required me to pull apart my dash board.

I was skeptical but after I installed this in my glovebox, it worked perfectly. I have a 2014 C300 Sport that has the COMMAND operating system, basic I think, and this worked exactly as advertised. Looks great. I did just install it so I have no history with it.
