I bought this Sauder Harbor View Storage Cabinet in Antique White finish years ago in 2014, and we have been using it ever since. It is ridiculously solid, quite heavy, the wood is thick (this isn't cheap veneer, folks!), and while it took a while for one person (me - I'm a woman) to assemble, it wasn't overly difficult. Your biggest hurdle about this one is that it is very solid and how heavy it is when putting it together, so definitely enlist some help with this one. I initially used it for storing extra linens and such, but when we pared down our things a while ago, I cleared this out and started using it as a much-needed craft cabinet. It stores TONS of crafts in the roomy and deep shelves, and the doors, hinges, trim, and overall paint job has been holding up extremely well, with lots and lots of use over the past 4-5 or so years. I haven't had to adjust anything or fix anything on it yet, it opens and shuts perfectly STILL (a feat I don't think I can say about another piece of furniture with hinges - normally, you end up having to adjust it here and there), and I use it often on a near-daily basis. It functions flawlessly and it's extremely sturdy. The antique white has a distressed look to it that's tasteful, with a cream color that goes well with just about any decor. This is one of those items that look way nicer in person than in the pictures, and I have nothing but good things to say about this cabinet. The style is pretty timeless. I STILL love it, and will be looking to order another one for another room pretty soon to replace it, because I like it so much. Overall, the quality is excellent, and if you have qualms about its longevity, I can assure you this storage cabinet was built to last for years and years once you properly assemble it. After nearly 5 years of use, it still looks fairly new! While this worked well for linen/bath storage, it also works great as a craft cabinet...and would look adorable in a nursery, too. It really is quite versatile and will work well for whatever you need to use it for, in just about any area of your home. I would give this 10 stars, if I could! Two thumbs up!

I am beyond impressed with this cabinet and the matching computer desk and hutch that I ordered. For the price, it is extremely well constructed and looks fabulous in my office. According to my handyman it was very easy to assemble as well.

We needed a 36" wide storage cabinet and had been looking for some time in used furniture stores, antique shops, etc. A "shabby chic" painted cabinet was our original goal. But, surprisingly, it is very difficult to find a 36" wide old storage cabinet. We could not find one -- at least , we couldn't find one that cost less than $600. You can have one custom made (expensive) or you can make one yourself (a bit time-consuming, and possibly expensive if you want to get old barn board to make it). So, I perused through the internet and Amazon, and came across this Sauder unit. 36 inches wide is not even widely available in new storage cabinets. And, if you find one, it tends to be in the $500 range. This Sauder, while not "shabby chic", still fits well into our bathroom. In fact, it looks great. And it was cheap. We wish it was a bit taller, but that is a small quibble. Ordered from Amazon, it arrived in 2 or 3 days! Extremely fast delivery. Very heavy box. You will need a cart to move it around. Very well packed -- unlikely to have any damage in transit. Easy assembly -- especially if you have previous experience assembling Sauder products (which I have). The key to Sauder's success is the ability to machine its parts so they fit perfectly. The holes all line up perfectly, and the hardware fits perfectly. The pieces are all labeled (A, B, etc.) The instructions are fairly good, but not perfect. Since I am used to the deficiencies in the instructions, I could easily assemble without a problem. But, Sauder could/should label some parts better. The rear panel, for example, does have an orientation which you must pay attention to. It is shown in the instructions, but it is not obvious from looking at the piece. This is where a sticky-label attached to the back piece could give you a "heads-up" on how to orient the backer board. The doors fit well, and are adjustable in height so that the left door matches up in height with the right door. Suggestion for Sauder: Test out your instructions some more on people who are not "mechanically inclined" . This will give you ideas on how to improve your instructions. But, on the whole, Sauder's instructions are head-and-shoulders above other company's self-assembly instructions. For those who are slightly mechanically inclined, you should find that assembly of this cabinet is easy.

Beautiful and sturdy piece of furniture. I bought it for my bathroom but it matches my bedroom furniture perfectly and when I put it together, I almost wanted to put it in the bedroom, except I already have a dresser there so two would the room look crowded. It is heavy and provides good amount of storage. Only complaint is that the right side door brushes against the inside when I open and close it. Left side is perfectly fine. I think it happens because the holes for the two doors were not perfectly aligned so one door is slightly higher than the other. Other than that, back side that touches the wall is very thin and could have been more sturdy. I searched everywhere for this cabinet and found the cheapest one on Amazon. Delivery was quick too and product arrived intact. Overall, I am happy with the purchase. Very good value for the money. Just wish the right door didn't rub against the inside. That's the only reason I took one start off.
