Why is this new product only 5.0oz when the old one was 6.8oz? Seems fishy to me...

It's because the new container is 1.8 oz smaller than the old one.

How do you use the mousse

Just thoroughly shake the can and dispense mousse onto your hand and then apply to the animals skin or infected area. In my case, I squeeze it directly in between the paws on my Westie where she gets yeast infections. On the skin, you can just leave it or gently brush out after it has dried. It helps somewhat, but does not completely clear up the condition.

My dog has a sore on side of leg, how do I get him not to lick this off? I guess wrap it?

I find this product is great for wounds and hot spots!!🤩 If your dog is licking, yu may wrap it with self adhesive vet wrap, (also available on amazon)! I have had great success this way with my very large dogs!

Can this be used in and around the dogs ears?

I would use it around the ears but if the dog is itching it’s ears, I would think the itch is coming from the inside of the ear and may need an antibiotic from the veterinarian for yeast inside the ear. I would not use this foam inside the ear.
