Lights are fantastic, adhered well to my brand new solid wood Walnut bed frame. I was originally going to put them under the kitchen cabinets, but was informed by Litcessory that it will be a year until compatible extensions and other attachments are available for the gradient strips. Not wanting to waste them by having them sit for a year until then, I purchased additional extensions and put them around my new King size bed (The pictures taken are with my old Queen size mattress on the bed before my new King mattress arrived). I’ve set these up to trigger via a Philips Hue motion sensor when someone gets out of the bed and it casts a gorgeous soft glow at night, and adds ambiance to the room (which is admittedly still slowly being setup after my move). The review about the price is ridiculous. Yes, they’re way overpriced. We know that. That isn’t a review, that’s just complaining, as valid as it may be. The light perform phenomenally and will go toe to toe with or outclass any others. The downside is, you pay way too much for this and honestly if I wasn’t so locked in to the Hue ecosystem, I wouldn’t have either. If you’re not balls deep in the Hue ecosystem, explore the Govee lights or do some research on alternative gradient lightning. I’m only just starting to explore Smart Home accessories and setups so I’m still unfamiliar with the capabilities of HomeKit or Google Assistant. I believe there are ways to trigger scenes and the like blending Philips Hue lights with other brands and they may be the ticket. The only other downside with that method is possible issues with color matching, but I’m sure with some manual tweaking you can setup scenes where the difference is completely imperceptible. Anyhow, if you’re like me and pretty nestled into the Philips ecosystem, I would say it’s worth it to just pony up the cash and grab these, they really are a stunning improvement over the last generation of light strips!

My friend recommended Philips Hue smart lighting for my house. We ordered the bulbs and lamps and these worked. Then I started ordering the strip lighting...my first 6 foot bast was ordered and when it arrived it did NOT work. Did not turn on at all when plugging it into the wall. Then I finally got a 6 foot gradient base that did work. However I needed to make the 6 foot base longer to outline my door. I have ordered 3 of the 3 foot gradient extensions and NONE of them have worked. This is very disappointing, a light company that does not have a functioning extension for its lights!!

Gradient light strip extension works perfectly. It attached easily to the base strip. It came with a little clear connection clip to hold it in place. The extension runs down the left side of the media center. I’m very pleased with it.

Great expansion for an already great product, looks great and functions as an extension of the existing gradient light. The connector is incredibly fragile, so be careful and delicate when installing.

I put this strip down and also got the extender to use as backlighting behind my media consul in my Music room and it is the perfect little strip that can be changed for different mood settings.

I bought two of these. One worked beautifully and the other didn’t work at all. I returned the item and had to repurchase a new one. Since it was no longer on sale I had to spend even more money just to get something that might work. The new one arrived and it clearly was an item someone else returned and they just sent to me. With broken prongs, dusty adhesive and a piece missing. Still waiting for an actual product that works

I returned my first extension by mistake, because I thought it was defective. What I actually needed to do, that is not described in the IKEA-style instructions, is to power down, then disconnect both sides of the little Hue box that drives the light strip. Plug everything together again, and your extension will work.

The strip is awesome. Have not tested the adhesive yet, but the light is awesome. Love it.

Product was dead on arrival and so cheap feeling for a product this expensive, definitely not up to the usual Phillips Hue standards, avoid just this one product to send them the message.

Love this new Hue product. Huge downside for me is that you cannot cut and reconnect it as you were able with the previous version.

Again, love the product. Way too overpriced. Also, should have more accessories for corners and adapters etc. GREAT customer service though.
