Makes the job so much easier
Absolutely amazing craftsmanship, thick steel and beefy welds this thing won't break and leave your project on the floor, definitely need to bolt it down to workbench no screws. Beautiful paint job and made in the USA.

Works
This worked for holding my Toyota 3rd member. There is play where the tube slides into the holder. Can work around it. I see steel shims when doing heavy moments. It was with the cost difference of the other brand that was darn near double in price.

Good product but could easily be better
I used this item for a GM 55P chunk going into a 56 Chevy 210. Worked fine, I could see how I can use it for a Mopar 8 3/4 and probably a Ford 9”, but I didn’t have one laying around. I actually didn’t even bolt mine down, just clamped it down in the pipe jaws of my 4” Fireball tools vise. Works fine, I was able to rotate the chunk however I needed to, but when you have the parts all in there, it’s heavy and dangling off an edge, so it gets kinda hard to pin it through both sides of the tube-this is why no 5 stars If the bar and pipe fitment were closer together-more precise, I wouldn’t have had to wrestle with it to get the pin in and out a few times

HEAVY DUTY WELL WORTH THE MONEY

I think this product is mis represented.
This item is misrepresented. I found this fixture to be too small to work with transmissions. I know it shows Ford AOD and C6 transmissions on the list, but to position the transmission in the correct working position. the arms are not long enough (only 8.5 inches). To give you an idea of the size, it fits easily into a small USPS flat rate box.

I have not used this fixture yet. I wouldn't recommend this in a commercial situation although I believe it will work ok in a home shop.
