So far, Magnifica is magnificent.
I've had this for roughly a few weeks now, the coffee is simply sensational. Medium or dark roast beans, either way produces fantastic results. I am typically a black coffee drinker so I didn't need any milk compartments etc, and I thought surely this would just mean more to clean anyway - the steam spout is there if and when I need it, however I haven't tested this yet. This is my first bean to cup coffee machine and I am blown away by how super convenient it is. The cleaning when you turn the machine ON and OFF is great. You might be filling the water tank up every couple of days, but so what? It's incredibly easy to do.The downside is that the manuals were awful to use - most of them were not in English so, as I had seen by other reviews, I referred to YouTube to watch some videos on how to first setup the unit, how to adjust temperature and coffee volume, and ever since I've had the best coffees I've ever tasted at home. The compartments are a breeze to remove and clean. I haven't yet done a 'deep' clean but if it isn't straight forward enough to do, I'll update this review to say how I got on. Other reviews here have said about what to look out for, or how to do it best, so I will follow that.An absolutely incredibly unit that, for the price, creates sensational coffee with the touch of a few buttons. Brilliant. Just make sure that you are using quality beans - treat yourself!

Better than than coffee
The media could not be loaded. I bought this machine for my studio, and honestly, it’s one of the best purchases I’ve made. I’ve saved so much money by not buying coffee elsewhere—and the taste is actually better than most cafés!What I love most is that it’s a bean-to-cup machine, which means no tamping—something I specifically looked for because tamping is extra work and can get messy. This machine makes it so simple: just press a button, and you have a perfect cup of coffee.I haven’t used the milk frother yet, as I prefer my coffee black, but it’s great to have the option for guests.Highly recommend if you want café-quality coffee with zero fuss.

Makes good espresso
My many years old DeLonghi machine was playing up a little (but still usable) and the coffee was a bit bitter. This new machine is as easy to use and makes good espresso, which is what I drink most of the time. The manual frother works well, I've tried it to make sure as guests occasionally want cappuccino. I didn't want the faff of an automatic latte maker, more cleaning and more technology to go wrong. Loses a star as I think the espresso could be a bit smoother, but this may be me not experimenting enough with grind settings, etc. To change some of the settings, you'll need the manual as the sequence of button presses is not intuitive and no confirmation that you've successfully made the change (e.g. the installation and removal of water filter). Hope this one lasts as many years as did the last DeLonghi machine I had.

Extremely Happy!
AMAZING!!There's so much I love about this machine.Firstly, and most importantly, the coffee is delicious and it smells wonderful. Nothing beats the smell of freshly brewed coffee for me....although freshly baked bread is a close second!!I have turned the machine up to full strength and I use a double shot to make my cappuccino in my reusable Costa cup.The coffee is the perfect temperature for me, although you can alter the coffee temperature. For an automatic bean to cup machine it's not overly noisy.I've read people saying that the instruction book is non-existent but my machine came with a quick start guide, an instruction book in English and the same one but in different languages. Also other reviewers mentioned that the water tank isn't large enough - well I suppose that depends on how many coffees you're making at one time but I wouldn't use water that's been sitting for days in a tank - I put in fresh water every morning. I also really like that the water tank slides out from the front - no more reaching blindly behind the machine to lift and replace the water tank.I had turned the grinder down to the lowest setting but the coffee was slowly dripping out the spouts then blocked up completely.I switched the machine off, waited 10 seconds, switched it back on and the blockage cleared. I then turned the grinder up to 3 (while the grinder was working) and all is good. The steam wand produces lovely silky smooth, frothy milk - I use Sproud Barista and it works perfectly.I have done the basic cleaning, the coffee grind collector, the drip tray (the metal part is dishwasher safe) and I've removed the brewing unit, washed it in warm water, left it to dry and refitted it - all straightforward. The machine isn't too heavy, I can lift it and move it easily myself.

So far so good!
Bought this last week to replace my Gaggia Unica which gave up after 12 years of been used day in day out. And so far so good, makes a great coffee and is much more adjustable than my old machine. Also rather easier to clean and the see through water tank is a good idea. It still makes good coffee when it works but there is the rub.11 months later and the machine is about to go back for repair for the second time. First time is couldn't prime the water circuit, now it thinks it is making a coffee, grinds the beans and makes all the usual noises, but doesn't draw any water from the water tank so nothing comes out!
