Valterra hydroflush attachment
Product works good as it was designed for

Nice & clear so you can see when it's mostly clean.
This connection fits good. The hose flushing port shoots straight out going into the holding tank on my trailer. It helps flush the holding tank with a strong water jet. It was worth the money to get it. I don't have to try and flush the holding tank with a wand inside the trailer anymore. I think this does just as good a job as the wand inside, because more water comes out of the port on this, filling the tank pretty fast. It doesn't take long to clean the tank now, and it's much faster & easier.

I don't know how you would clean your black water tank without it.
After 2 to 3 years of camping with this, this is what I think. This is a very good tool to help make sure you have a clean black water tank. I always use it when I drain and flush the tanks. This is designed for a clean-out station with a good hose with a good hose end and plenty of water pressure. When these are all true, it is excellent. My experience is that state and county parks do not always have a hose with a connector on it and/or good water pressure. I have had to make a few extra devices to connect a hose to this to keep from getting wet. The designer needs to camp in a few Missouri camp grounds. Then they could make an excellent product. Before I started using this, by the end of the season, I could smell the black water tank after it had been in storage for a couple of weeks or more. Since I have added this to my routine, I am keeping a much cleaner tank and not spilling waste on the ground.

Effective for cleaning
I'm not one that likes to look at my own waste, but it's really nice to have a visual to see when the water is "cleaner" while flushing. It's universal and it fits perfectly on my old trailer. The spray nozzle on the inside is also effective cleaning.

Nice product
We ordered this flush attachment to replace an older Camco model that was leaking. It is a good buy and a pleasant colr choice.

Works Great - especially with secondary valve
This thing works great for cleaning your tanks. (and for removing clogs too!) When I dumped my tanks 2 trips ago I didn't think the black tank was empty... it seemed like I barely got anything out and the gauge still read 2/3s full (was it full or just stuff sticking to the sensor????). So I put more chemicals in the tank and then ordered this attachment to try and bust out any clogs. I bought a secondary valve Valterra T58 Twist-On Waste Valve to put on the end of this flush setup so that I can shut off the drain hose and really push the water back into the tank. Sure enough, when I went out last weekend the first thing I did was dump the tanks and I got a lot of "stuff" out of the black tank. I then flushed the tank a couple times with fresh water (through this flush valve) and got even more stuff out. I bought this flush valve instead of some other flush valves based on the reviews. (other flush setups with built in valves had poor reviews due to slow flow). This setup flows a lot of water back into the tank. It still takes a few minutes to get the tank filled up (watch your sensors!) but its worth the wait. This was our last trip out for the season so I spent 15 minutes or so really flushing the tank out. I found the best thing was to do several short flushes (so you just cover the bottom of the tank and rinse out the "sediment") and then do a full flush where you fill the tank. The full flush seemed to pull out a lot of TP that was sticking to the sides. Now my tank reads empty and I know it is empty. I didn't bother flushing the gray tank. I was a little worried that I might push some black water contaminants back into the gray tank and it would get smelly??? Oh - one other nice thing about this setup is that you can really rinse your hose and pipe out. The last thing I did was to shut both valves on my camper and turn the water on to rinse out the end of the pipe and the hose. I know the gray water rinses out the hose, but I figure fresh water rinsing is even better.

Valterra F02-4100 45° RV Hydroflush
Bought this to use with the Flojet 18555000A Portable Waste Pump and found the flush valve leaks and a poor flush stream ... I don't know if it's just the one I got or they are all that way ?? ...found the one on the pump worked better ... didn't leak and a stronger stream for flushing .. I would of been better off just getting a plain clear one without the flush valve ... also it's on so tight to the pump outlet that I can't get it off .. I'm afraid I'll break it trying to get it off ... I already tried both separately on the camper outlet with no problem ..so it's the connection between the hydroflush and the pump .. If I were just using the hydro flush without the pump .. I think I would buy a different one ..or something different ..

We do NOT have a straight line from the valve to our tank, but it worked great when we added the "Valterra T58 Twist-On Waste Valve" to the end between the valve and the waste hose. It was the first time we've ever been able to flush out our black tank since we bought the trailer new 8 years ago and we go so much gunk out of there! Our trailer was very smelly before we flushed the tank as part of our de-winterizing procedures, but by the time we got it back to the acreage, smelled like it should! We spent 1h at the dump station filling and emptying the black tank. I'm sure we could have spent more time and got more out, but it seemed like we did a pretty thorough job. It will now be part of our winterizing and dewinterizing procedures!`

Works as advertised. I read reviews on several other similar products that talked about leaking seals and breakage so opted for the Valterra. It is holding up well.
