DEWALT TSTAK Tool Organizer, Small Parts and Screw Organizer Tool Box with Removable Compartments, (DWST17805)

I use these (yeah, I have multiples!) to store retro gaming consoles, retro computers, and some rPI-400's with the associated peripherals. The case is perfect to put some closed cell foam into and forming custom packaging that you can see into. It is not moisture tight, but I put 1 standard unit of desiccant in each box as condensation kills old electronics. (I store in temperature/humidity controlled spaces too, but better safe than sorry as I don't nitrogen purge/etc...). Since the controllers/peripherals don't usually fit into this box with the console, I pair it with a DWST17806 for larger setups, a DWST17807 for medium, and a second one of these if it'll fit--again, using the closed cell foam and plastic anti-static bags (not necessarily ESD) to keep things from getting more scratches or destroying other things if their cables go to sludge. The extra height of the '07/06 boxes is often required for odd shaped controllers or larger peripherals. I find these are the perfect size and they stack great or go on shelves. There are other options for the tstak series too, like roll around/etc...Plus, you can use them as a stool/seat if needed too. I don't have much use for the storage cups, but every now and again they are useful... especially as, similar to the pro/tough ones, you don't have to use them all at the same time. Right now, I use the cups mostly as organizers in other places... so really a great value all around. The competing setup I looked at was to use pelican cases, but they are very expensive and waste a lot of space relative to these... the pelicans were also much tougher and ship-able.... Tstak is not really ship-able--these are transportable--they'd need extra packaging to ship (and one was damaged in shipping, and that sort of makes the point) However, I don't need a ship-able solution that is waterproof... these are more space efficient and lower cost while still providing excellent performance.

I am a Ham Radio operator. I carry a lot of different coaxial connectors made of brass. And they are pretty heavy when having to carry them to the tower site. I needed a better way of carrying them and storing these. I have tried several different ways from wooden boxes, bags to belt pouches but could never have what I needed. Until I saw this with the size and it being 4 inches deep. I was able to put 90* elbows, N type, Barrel, PL-259's, and even had room for a couple of 1:1 and 4:1 Baluns. This box is strong enough to carry up to 44 lbs. The latch system is top notch. I even dropped this box from the tailgate of my truck and it stayed latches and without even a scratch. They make this item with the working man in mind. I am thinking about another on just to carry my soldering iron and coax tools in. THANKS DEWALT for such a nice box.

I bought it by 20usd, that is a good price. When it arrives to my home in 5 minutes I decided to buy other. I only use to storage elements in my house. It looks tough materials, you can extract the plastic yellow boxes, so you can use this package to storage medium size tools and its accesories. The first box I decided to use it to storage my medium saw Bosch, and when arrives the second box I will use it to my Dremel and its accesories. You can secure this box with other tough Dealw boxes, but the system is a bit dificult to prees it, some times I have byte my fingers. This box is heavy, so I recomend transport only one in each arm. If the price falls a bit, I will buy other 2 or 3 boxes.

Really nice! Easy to stack! I almost own every piece to this! Even if I don't use it daily! LOL

Deep storages boxes, plenty of space for bolts or whatever small parts you need, I hoped that had many more divisions but it's Ok. Great for the price

DEWALT Store: TSTAK Organizer w/Clear Lid (DWST17805), Parts Organizer w/Removable Compartments This product is the DeWALT TSTAK V, Organizer Case with Clear Lid (DWST17805). This container is part of the DeWALT TSTAK V2.0 system of products. The base of the container is black polypropylene polymer. The top of this container is made of clear polycarbonate polymer, a very tough polymer material. This container comes with ten (10) variously sized DeWALT Yellow polymer cups inside the container that most people will be using for the organization and storage of various small parts and hardware items. I will not be using the cups inside the container. This journey began about a year ago when I started purchasing DeWALT TSTAK toolboxes. Then I saw a video where a person had used the original DeWALT TSTAK V (V1.0) container with its clear top to make a special container for storing his DeWALT power tools. That version of the TSTAK V had a molded insert in the container and a set of molded polymer cups. He had taken out the cups, the molded insert, and he had cut a sheet of Kaizen Foam to fit the tools he wanted to store in the container. The video was old and the DeWALT TSTAK V V2.0 has replaced the original TSTAK V container, so there is no longer a molded insert utilized in the container. (Too bad.) I found out about ShadowFoam in the UK and learned that they manufacturer custom cut multi-layered polyethylene foam in multiple thicknesses and they offer a Black and DeWALT Yellow foam. I have learned about Onreva foam available from Amazon and have learned how to cut the foam I need by myself. So, now I purchase the DeWALT TSTAK containers, such as this TSTAK V, and design and cut my own foam inserts to fit my tools and accessories. That is what these two DeWALT TSTAK V containers will be used for. I particularly like the TSTAK products because of their size, their very tough build qualities, and their versatility. Because of the cost of these items, I search and wait for the items I want to go one sale and, fortunately for me, Amazon has had several good sales this year. I am hopeful for the upcoming Prime Day. This is another purchase of the DeWALT TSTAK products for me. They are tough, they fit together well, and they integrate with the smaller DeWALT ToughCase+ containers, as well. The DeWALT TSTAK cases are made of quality materials, they are very durable, and yet, still portable. The DeWALT TSTAK products are made predominately of polypropylene polymer (for the case body, top, and handles) and they also use Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) for the latches used to connect the individual components of the TSTAK system. Most of the case handles are over-molded with a Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR) coating to make carrying heavy cases a little easier and more secure. Also, they employ all steel over-center latches to secure the case’s top to the bottom, a steel hinge pin to connect the top and bottom sections together, and the ABC latches utilize a steel hinge pin for strength. Finally, I like that most of the TSTAK V2.0 products have an IP54 rating, though the rating could be higher if DeWALT would add a resilient seal into the top of the case. I really like this product.

Super sturdy and well-built. Keeps all my small parts organized and easy to find. The latches are solid, and it stacks perfectly with my other TSTAK boxes.

Sehr guter Koffer. Optimal zum aufbewahren von Schrauben, Dübeln und anderes Kleinmaterial. Habe 2 Stück davon. Durch meine weiteren DeWalt Werkzeuge super zu transportieren, einfach dran klicken und alles dabei.
