No problems at all, both worked perfectly in 2240 and 2270
Cartridges came quickly, put one in a 2240 and the other in a 2270. No problems at all, worked first time, no fuss. Didn't have to reset the wheels (which I have to do sometimes with other cartridges. If you don't know what I am talking about, google the issue or you shouldn't be buying compatible brother cartridges since sometimes you have to reset the counter wheel. Not a big deal, but you do have to remove a couple of screws, take off the counter wheel, and then reset it properly. There are youtube videos that show you exactly how to do this. I have only had to do this once for a cartridge I refilled. Also, some compatible cartridge companies do not include the wheels and expect you to remove the wheels from the old cartridge. Not a big deal, but these guys included the wheels in the proper position. Don't bad mouth the cartridges because you didn't reset the wheels properly if that was necessary). Can't remotely imagine what kind of problems these other people experienced (unless I just got lucky, but I don't think so). My guess is these these people bought the wrong cartridges, then as you usually see in many Amazon reviews, bad mouth the product. I have used many compatible cartridges and haven't had a problem with any them (except hp) and these are a steal. To avoid writing a bad review because you bought the wrong product, make sure your printer uses the TN450 cartridge. Don't go by the models supported. Also if you are not used to using compatible cartridges, all these products assume you know how to replace cartridges and few give detailed instructions. So if you are not experienced and/or expect/need detail instructions, don't buy compatible cartridges from these guys or anyone else.Plus, I'm not sure I care how long they last (at least 500 pages with no problems, no reason to expect other than normal life) since at this price, it's little more than buying the toner and refilling the old ones (which I have done). I have found the Brother 2200 series printers to pretty tolerant of different cartridges and they work fine (except if you might have to reset the counter wheel explained above, but not a big deal) Got rid of my HP's because they have special chips and other things to make you make their cartridges. Heck, you can buy a nice brother printer for the price of one OEM HP cartridges (almost). I'll never buy HP printer again, Brother 2200's are great.

Perfect - after you find reset code
Great print quality and a great price - fractions of a penny per beautiful, crisp print. Why does anybody buy inkjet? (Well, for cheap color.) Also, HAHAHAHA @ Brother. Bought this laser printer for like sixty bucks at one of the brand-name country-wide office supply big box stores. They were planning to make their margins on toner -The catch: these generics do not contain the sneaky "reset Toner error" switch included on the OEM equipment. Therefore, you must perform the following on your printer (at least if it's an HL-2240 like mine) in order to get the printer to work temporarily:Quickly press "go" 7 times. This puts you in a mode that temporarily suspends the Toner error, but you will have to repeat this code if you exit it by, for example, turning the power off.To clear the error permanently:15. If the toner cartridge model is TN450, do the following steps to clear the Toner error:a. Turn off the power switch on the machine.b. Verify the front cover is open.c. Hold the GO button while powering on the printer. All LEDs turn on and the Ready LED will turn off.d. When the Ready LED turns off, release the GO button. All LEDs will turn off.e. Press the GO button 2 times (Toner, Drum, and Error LEDs turn on).f. Press the GO button 7 times. All LEDs turn off and then the Error LED will turn on.g. When the Error LED stays on, close the front cover. The Error LED will turn off and the Ready LED will flash briefly.h. Verify the Ready LED is on steady and the Toner LED is off.- If the Toner LED is still on, repeat STEP 15.- If the Toner LED stays on after repeating Step 15, inform the customer you will transfer their call to our technical support engineers. Transfer the call to Mono Laser technical support.Source: savinsource(dot)blogspot(dot)comYou can also check the comments from GaryD's review - TucsonShopper has included multiple reset instructions, as well.

MONEY IN MY POCKET, NOW!
I purchased this item when I purchased my new Brother MFC-7860 DW. I used the starter cartridge that came with my new printer first. I then used a Brother recommended cartridge. When it ran out, I replaced the Brother cartridge with this item. I did run into the problem with the low toner message and internal counter problem listed in several of on-line reviews. I used the fix listed by other Amazon buyers/reviewers. IT WORKED PERFECTLY. Despite the very slight inconvenience of resetting the page counter, I find the compatible cartridges to be considerably cheaper to use. I write a number of reports for our local court sytem. I was spending hundreds of dollars every six weeks or so. Now I only spend about $10.00 in the same time period. I find the compatible cartridge copies to be very acceptable. Clean and crisp! Here is the fix:1. Open the front toner compartment door.2. Message reads "Front cover open."3. Press the "Clear" button4. Message reads "Replace Drum?" and gives a choice of Yes or No. DO NOT SELECT EITHER RESPONSE!5. INSTEAD, type in *00 on the keypad. (That would be an asterisk before two zeros!)This code resets the printer's internal page counter. You will see an "accepted" message. Close the compartment door. Press STOP/EXIT. No more low toner message. It only takes about 30 seconds.THIS FIX WORKS.

This product is actually aB450 and not a TN450.
Although the toner cartridge does fit my printer it is about an inch smaller that the original toner cartridge. I was concerned that it would not fit properly in my printer but once installed it did print. The only difficulty that I encountered was in trying to remove this cartridge from my printer. I had to press down on it to remove otherwise it would catch and not come out. I only made one print with it before removing and replacing with the original cartridge because I wanted to be certain that it would work properly and as far as printing, it seemed to be OK.

NOT a TN450 toner.
I've ordered this article twice, and both times I got B450 toner cartridges instead of TN450. When I attempted to load the cartridge anyway, it caused printing issues. I now need to return the article again, and you can be sure I won't order this again.

I don't know what I am talking about. I do about twenty or thirty copies a week.
I can't comment on longevity. I am retired and in my late seventies. I don't ever expect to buy this item again. I bought two for half the price of one brand new one from Staples. The quality is excellent. I am very happy with this purchase and I expect it to outlive me. Bob F.

Works so-so.
The print quality is hit or miss. It sometimes leaves a weird streak, or black dust on my pages. I have tried cleaning my printer, and even switched back to the OEM cartridges which gave me much better results. I bought them because they were cheap, and they are good value for your money. If you don't mind some minor imperfections or splotches on your page (which I don't) then it's a great alternative to the OEM cartridges.

Great deal on Brother laser toner cartridges
Once i figured out how to attach the new cartridge in place of the old one it functioned as well as the original.I had no problems with the fit, the finish, the packaging or it's overall function. This was a great productfor a great price. I am using it now and so far it has worked perfectly. I have to give it 5 stars as I can see noreason not to. It was packaged well for shipping and it came clean and ready to install in the printer. This is just the laser ink or toner part of the whole cartridge assembly. There is another part it attaches to, I thinkit is called the drum. Once installed the low toner light went out on my printer indicating proper installation.I would buy again and will post again if I notice any problems in it's expected service life. It's a great deal on toner.
