Not all beanies are created equal. I challenge anyone to find one as cozy, soft, warm…did I say soft? This is our second one. Bought it for my son because he loved his dad’s beanie so much. That beanie has been w my husband for about 5 years now and it has been washed many times and it hasn’t stretched, ripped, or faded. The fit is a little loose. My boys wear it without the fold, and it comes out a little slouchy.It’s 55% Merino Wool and 45% polyester. We have many beanies / hats with this same percentage, but none of them feel like this. We love our Patagonia better sweater beanie, and Rag & Bone Wool beanie, but this Smartwool one beats all.

We like this hat so much we bought multiple. It stretches to fit big heads yet fits normal sized heads as well. Warm and cozy and cuts the wind.

Great quality and size as it fits my big head nicely. My only dislike is that the top is not exactly round, but other than that it is a great and nice looking hat.

I’m wearing it in Iceland right now. Very comfortable and resists water fairly well. I was out in an extended sleet and it became wet. I still kept it one and the next morning it was mainly dry. I’ve been very comfortable in it and it’s not itchy on my head at all. Worth the $ to me.

I gifted this hat to a family member for xmas, and she absolutely loves it. It's soft and super warm. She gets cold easily, so wears it pretty much every day. Plus, it's really cute.
