This worked so quickly! I have been battling the bacterial blooms and was so tired of cloudy water. I have turned it on for a couple hours each day and it has kept the tank crystal clear.

Using to clean up my aquarium. Inserted it in side the water filter. Cleanup green water and never had a problem.Have used for about an year and still works good.Running it 24x7.Definitely recommend

I cant believe it actually worked, definitely buying ones for my other tanks. Took just a couple of days to go from very green and couldn’t see fish to very clear!

lasted two months of minimal (2 hours a day, three times a week) of usage. burnt out when i went to turn it on this morning. I don't expect much from these cheap chinese items, but this is absolutely ridiculous.

Works unbelievably well! I can't believe how it cleared up our fish tank water and kept it clean! The reason for three stars is that it only lasted two months and you can't replace the bulb!

The Amazon delivery person hates me I sure, I get multiple packages daily most days! But I never write reviews.This one I just HAD too! I have spent sooooo much money trying to rid my 60 & 30 gallon tanks of mucky, cloudy water. Water clarification treatments, beneficial bacteria, sludge eating bacteria, water changes, UGH 😩 nothing worked!Then in comes the UV lights. I have a small one inside the filter of my 60 gallon, and a 7-8” one pictured in my 30 gallon (as you can see the smaller tank was much worse). The small bulb is only 1-2” overall, so it wouldn’t fit inside my smaller filter system on my smaller tank. That’s why you see the weird black activated charcoal filter media wrap job I did on it (instructions say to not let the light touch the fish it can cause irritation and damage to their skin) so that is an option if you have a smaller filter.Anyway!!!! These pictures are from only ONE DAY.I didn’t have a chance to snap a pic of the larger tank but I did take the photo seen in my review after a couple hours with the light in it. It was almost the same color water as the smaller tank before!!!The clear water photos are of only 10 or so hours of use of the UV lights. I put them in the night prior when the package arrived, and the After photos are from when I woke up the next morning (today.) I am just absolutely BLOWN AWAY by how well and EXTREMELY FAST these lights worked!!!! If you have an over abundance of bacteria grown, Algae, or just plain cloudy water…. This will hands down be the best purchase you ever made for your Aquariums and fish! I’m not joking. The photos speak for themselves!! Buy it, YESTERDAY!If I had went this route sooner I would’ve saved over $200 in products that just couldn’t get the job done. These UV lights definitely do!!! -Bree Zamora

Works great!! I love it only thing is, is it claimed to have a timer but does not!!!!!! Only has a on and off switch. I have to remember to turn it off only downside!

Only been in the tank a week and already seeing results, just installed in the back of existing power filter. Had bought a different style with a powerhead and filter for a new tank build and had excellent results so got this one since I already had the filter on the older tank. Doesn't have to be left on 24/7 after it starts to clear up, you can alternate a couple days a week to increase the life of the bulb. I run mine on the 40 gal tank 3 days on 3 days off
