We ordered this second LED collar (green) for our Golden as the first collar (red) for our black lab has been great! We know where each pup is in the fenced backyard as the yardlight doesn't cover all the area. I slide the collars over their heads as I don't want their roughhouse playing to chew up the collars. 1) The collar color is the collar of the light. I wasn't clear about that when I ordered, thinking the light may be white. The green collar is more an almost yellow-green neon color, but the light is green. 2) Rechargeable battery has lasted a long time. I've not needed to recharge the collar in over five weeks. Granted, I only turn the light on when I'm letting the pups outside after dark to do their business and for rare short night walks (less than 15 minutes.) I think I'll plan to recharge each collar once a month, just to stay ahead of the charge. 3) Charging port has a silicone cover which will help keep it clean. 4) The three modes - quick flash, slow flash and solid are nice options. I tend to use the slow flash. But if both pups are together the red & green flash is too crazy for my eyes so I'll leave them on solid light mode. 5) The bright light can be seen at least 100 yards away, so keeping track of them is easy. Next test will be at the lake in a couple of weeks. These are city pups, so part of my concern is they may take off after a critter in the dark, even if I have them on a leash. The collar is not recommended for prolonged immersion, like swimming in the lake, but desciption says snow and rain should be okay. That's fine with me as I only use at nighttime. Highly recommend!!!

Wore out the last collar. This seems more sturdy and better made. Lights up well with a few modes to play with. Easy to use rechargeable battery.

First let me say, I don’t like to put my reviews in until I have had a good amount of time using a product to give an honest opinion. We have 4 dogs and live on 40 acres but the dogs are enclosed on 2 acres around the house. I bought these on Jun of 83 and they have been wearing them 24/7 in the snow and rain as well, I thought these would be great to have because I needed to be able to see them at night when I let them out for fear if they got thru the electric fence I wouldn’t be able to find them. As you can see, they are clearly visible and the thing I like the most about them is their durability and the three different modes you can set them on. I have two boys and 2 girls so I put them all on different modes so I know who is who when we are out in the dark. I love these so much! I recently purchased 4 new ones just incase. These guys play hard, I’ve seen them pull on each others collars from time to time and they are still working! Only on one of the collars, the rubber stopper came off where you charge it at. I’m just adding this part in today because I decided that since I bought the new ones I wanted to wash the old ones because they were all filthy from wearing them after a year and a half, I couldn’t find a way to disconnect the battery from the collars so I threw them in a (COLD WASH) anyway since I already purchased new ones and I have to say…. WOW! I’m impressed! They all worked! They were on and blinking when I pulled them out of the washer! I couldn’t believe it? I was in total awe! Even the one that lost the rubber stopper worked! They came out looking almost brand new! I let them dry on their own overnight and did not chance the dryer. Still NO PROBLEMS? I just had to edit that in my review! The reflective lights are just as vibrant and loud as the day we first got them and they are still durable! I charge mine every week over night to insure they stay charged and ready to go. I only turn them on at night. These collars are a must for dogs and cats of all sizes, you won’t be sorry or disappointed with them! I LOVE THESE! Bought as a gift and it’s super bright. They loved it, perfect if you let your roam off leash or if they hard to see at night

I purchased to replace a battery operated collar and it needed replaced. Based on other reviews I opted to get the green for max brightness. We do go for walks in a park in the evening and he is off leash, this definitely helps keep a closer eye on him. I bought the medium for my dog, he's around 60 pounds. I wasn't expecting the collar to only have 1 point of light to go around the whole collar, the collar seems kind of dim towards the one end, so depending on how my dog is facing I can't see him that well. Although I do like the look of the collar, I wasnt expecting a whole collar with a D ring for his tags, plugged it in and it took not even 20 minutes and it's fully charged. We dont run it continuously but even in our fence in yard, it's much quicker to find him. He's constantly rolling in stuff, playing in water, getting hosed, and this collar has held up to the test so far, very functional and durable. Also looks great even when the light isn't on.

5lb lil guy goes out in the fenced in yard at night and couldn’t see him. This definitely helped to find him! The light is bright enough. We turn on the strobe part and he flashes all over the yard.

These collars are fantastic and add a layer of safety when I walk my dog at night. Drivers can see your dog at the end of the leash at night, and you can see where your dog is if he's off leash. If you have multiple dogs, use a different color so you can tell them apart in the dark. A great buy and ppl ask me where I got mine all the time.

My dog brighter than a traffic light.. Maybe should increase choices of colors light
