Love this tumbler! We had the Yeti 32 ounce for a year when the hubs saw this one online. Since it was significantly bigger, he said to order it. I did, and it's fantastic! It holds ice every bit as well as the Yeti does. I can tank it with ice up to the top first thing in the morning, and it will hold a full pint (16 oz) of iced tea or lemonade. I'll stay at the super hot, south Florida beach until somewhere between 2 and 3, and there's still plenty of ice. I'll use it all the rest of the day and evening, and when I wake up in the morning, there's still about half a tumbler of ice left.One thing to remember with a tumbler of this size, it's significantly heavier to lift when full, so it wouldn't be the best choice for young kids or those with arthritic hands. The lid is not interchangeable with the 32 ounce Yeti; it's larger.The bottom fits perfectly into our car cup holders. We bought a set of stainless steel straws that fit perfectly in the drink hole, and now we never go anywhere without a big dose of our favorite form of hydration.

At first I was a little disappointed in this cup because it had a simple lid with an opening at the bottom of the lid for drinking that cannot be closed. However, after using it now for three weeks, I have thoroughly changed my tune. It keeps ice in my drinks all day. I fill it at 5:30 or so in the morning and drink from it until 10:30 or so. At times, the ice machines where I teach are empty, so I just fill it with liquid and go on my merry way until after my second class, which concludes at 3:00 pm. I'll grab dinner sometime after four before my last class of the day at 5 pm and fill it again, this time with ice. The next morning (no classes to teach that day), I wake up between 6-8 and often, I'll still find ice in the cup.It is also comfortable to drink from and easy to clean. I bought another cup from another company with a lid that slides closed. That cup has retained odors from drinks I've had in it. This cup, however, has not (I also have not had coffee in it). Unfortunately, I can't commend this cup for hot drinks as I've not tried it for hot drinks; but, if you're looking for something to keep drinks cold through the day with a top that fits tightly into the cup without being ridiculously hard to remove, this is the cup.

I LOVE this tumbler. Like everything else, I spent hours reading reviews and trying to figure out how much I wanted to invest. I wanted- no NEEDED- something HUGE. I needed something stainless because I add essential oils to my water sometimes. I LOVE ICE!! LOTS AND LOTS OF ICE. And that’s why I needed a HUGE cup. By the time a tray of ice is added, 24-30 ounces is cut in half. I took the plunge and spent $25+ on a tumbler. Shhhh. Don’t tell my hubby. You should see how many tumblers I had at the time. Lol. Well TWO YEARS later and this thing is still going. It’s keeps icy drinks cold over night!!! Ice cubes still present 15+ hours later. The lid is plastic/acrylic and is a tiny bit hazy, but it’s still very functional!! I’m horrible with my tumblers, the falls, they sit for a couple days (yikes!), I wash in dish washer. In 2 years, there’s only one little dent (self inflicted) on the bottom of the tumbler. The lid and gasket are still going strong. The lid is not a closed lid. It has an opening for straw and then a tiny vent hole. That said, the lid stays in place! And that’s why I have leak proof 5 stars. If you knock it over, the spillage is minimal because the lid stays tight! I also bought the handle accessory. It seems very cumbersome and I don’t really use it. Perhaps if it were closed it would be easier to hold and carry (letting it dangle while holding other things) the hook design of the handle is just ok. But it does do the job. This tumbler would be perfect to put a skin/vinyl decal on. I even found a bent stainless steel straw that fits perfectly to the bottom! BUY THIS TUMBLER!!!

I really love this stainless insulated cup. I drink lots of water during the day and I hated having to always go refill my other smaller cups so I ordered this big one in order to minimize having to refill it. So far it's awesome. Works just as well as comparable stainless vacuum sealed cups but holds more. One thing to consider: if you fill your cup from the fridge dispenser, this cup probably will not fit under the dispenser without tilting it somewhat and then you will have to kind of guess as to when it's full. Not a big deal but not something that is really an issue with the smaller size cups. Also, I will say that the lid to this cup goes on easier than the lids to some of my other stainless cups of different brands. Not sure if that will effect performance over time but as of now (a month of use) it is working great. Recommended for those who like a big drink and don't want to be refilling it all the time!

In my experience, this item does much better keeping cold things cold than it does keeping hot beverages hot. The hot drinks stay warm for hours, but they lose their initial hot-ness faster than I expected based on the product description. On the other hand, I have found ice cubes still floating in my cold drinks the next morning after leaving the container on the counter overnight. Granted, the cubes have melted some, but they are still present. It also works well for keeping smoothies from liquefying too quickly so I can enjoy them longer. Given my experience with hot beverages, I would not purchase this item again at the same price point. If it were about half the cost, I might buy another one so I would have one at work and one at home. I would also give them as gift items.

I bought a Pure stainless steal mug 5 years ago and thought I'd get a second one. Unlike my old one, this new mug transfers heat and cold to the outside despite being twice the thickness of the old one. I suspect it's just insulated not vacuum sealed like the old ones. Defeats the entire point of getting one of these mugs. The fit and finish looks completely different as well. I'm not sure if the manufacturing quality has gone down or this is just a cheap knockoff.
