Excellent for Wounds with Significant Drainage
BUY THESE if you have to change the regular version more than once a day. They are significantly more expensive than the regular ones UNLESS you are changing the regular ones too often. One of these every day or every other day is way better than three or four of the regular version each day and MUCH easier on the skin. Medical supply places charge SVEN DOLLARS for ONE of these, so the price here is very good. These "supers" saved us quite a bit of money, a lot of time and much wear and tear on the patient's skin. You will have to judge whether you need them or not based on the wound you are treating, but they CAN be a big help under certain conditions and CAN be more economical than the regulars, depending upon the wound. I'm not a doctor or a nurse - just a care-giver for a family-member, so use your judgement and listen to the doctors and nurses. Especially the nurses. They have hands and eyes on things all day, every day. Oh, and don't forget there are larger dressings in this form as well.

Very Adhesive Optifoam Bandage
Great product, very adhesive, and has enough foam to help with bed sores.

Best Dressing That I've Used So Far
Using this on an area around my right outer ankle bone. I've tried other products and this works the best for me. I like that you can shower with it on. :)))

Band aide…Stays on and doesn’t pull your skin off
Expensive but works without pulling your skin off! And it stays on until you pull it off!

Comfort for elderly people.
Perfect for elderly people. They are easy to remove without tearing the skin of elderly people. Used on a 95 year old man and I would not use any other bandage on him. A little pricey but well worth the money.

Overall quite good, but could still trap moisture.
These are far better than a competing brand in terms of comfort; we switched from gauze and satin tape to these (upon doctor's advice) due to the healing stage my wound was at. But I'm not sure I'd call the outer layer "highly breathable;" even changing the dressing every 48 hours, we had to switch back to gauze after 4 days of these dressings because the wound was still starting to look a little macerated around the edges.

Protects wounds nicely
I needed this foam dressing after I had surgery which had to be a bit deeper than average, and for which the doctor required granular healing rather than surgical stitches. This type of wound requires drainage fluids to be wicked away from the wound and also prevent leakage. This bandage has been handling this task easily, plus has an easy-removing border that's gentle on my skin, yet clings like a tenacious rock-climber. Never once in almost two months has even a corner of one peeled loose, including in the shower, which is the point in my day when my doctor advised removing the bandage for wound cleansing as the steam/moisture makes it even easier. The bullet points on the outside of the box describing product benefits/storage/warning against not using for 3rd degree burns are clear and well-written. Additionally, both graphics and instructions in numbered steps make application easy for most, if not all. This particular bandage MAY be left on longer than a day ONLY if certain conditions are met concerning drainage amounts, so you'd want to contact your doctor for approval if you think you may be eligible.

For a burn. Absorbant, stays on, waterproofs well.

Bought to replace the expensive versions given by hospital. I would say 70% of the performance for less than half the cost. Can't complain.
