K-Edge | Mounting System Insert Kit | Wahoo

I bought a different K-Edge mount from a bike shop when I was in Alabama. After telling the employee I had a Wahoo computer, he sold me a Garmin mount. I put the mount on and overtightened the top screws before I realized I had the wrong mount and was more than 40 miles from the bike shop. K-edge replaced the mount after I told them what happened. I had to cut that mount off in order to remove it. When I got home I found a K-Edge out front mount that I had for my old Garmin computer. This adapter worked perfectly. Thanks K-Edge!

If you had a K-Edge Garmin mount It's a lot cheaper to get this for your Elemnt than a new K-Edge mount. The other reviewer mentioned it breaks easy, but this is a safety feature to save your Elemnt from breaking in case of a crash. And if you bought a new K-Edge the insert would be the same. Docked one star since its way overpriced.

I had a K Edge bar mount for Garmin, but sold that head unit and got a Wahoo Bolt. I just needed to buy this insert for cheap, and now the mount works for my Wahoo. You need one of these inserts if you're switching from Garmin to Wahoo; the Garmin insert will not lock onto a Wahoo computer and it'll pop right off.

A perfect fit for my K-Edge mount, which previously held a Garmin. The Wahoo blue color is a nice touch. The Wahoo actually works fine in the Garmin mount - once rotated 1/4 turn, but it's not as solid as this one. In a good funny, while the Wahoo fits in the Garmin mount, the Garmin will not fit in the Wahoo mount.

If you are one of many who are changing over to Wahoo (from Garmin), then you can re-use your existing K-Edge mounts for your Wahoo. Just remove the existing Garmin compatible insert and replace it with this insert. If you like you can use a little Loctite to secure the screw but it's not required. I have now done many rides with these inserts without any problems. They are a very inexpensive way to salvage your investment in K-Edge mounts.

I have been using these with the gravity mount on my mountain bike for awhile. Solid through tons of downhill abuse. I have had to replace a few through the years when i crashed hard enough with an impact to the computer that it ripped the insert. That's what they are designed for. You want the $7 insert to break, not the mounts on your expensive bike computer. I keep a spare on the shelf.

So weit alles gut. Produkt ist ja bekannt und in gewohnter Qualität. Versand war sehr schnell. Den einen Stern Abzug gibt es dafür dass man den Artikel, der so groß ist wie ein 2€ Stück in einen Karton packt der die Maße eines Schuhkartons noch leicht übersteigt. In der heutigen Zeit wäre ein wenig mehr Umweltbewusstsein schön, das Teil hätte man locker als Brief versenden können.
