Tomo Crispy Chili Bamboo Shoot in 12.34oz (350g) jar. Product of Taiwan. Review: Crispy and delicious! - We have had a lot of fun introducing these to friends and family. Addictions have been formed on the spot. You can eat them right out of the jar and we often DO, you can add to soup or stir fry (I like to hold them aside and just mix in at the last minute to preserve the crunchy texture. They are also good as an addition to asian cucumber carrot vinegar salads, or on vietnamese rice noodle salad. Chop them up a bit, add a half tsp of sauteed ground pork and ginger, and they make an excellent stuffing for sticky rice balls. Packed in "chili oil" we expected them to be super spicy, but though there is a teeny bit of heat even our wimpy friends enjoy them. (Ordinarily we love super hot flavors, and are known to question the man or womanhood of hot spice wimps.) Review: Great tasting - Use for soups ,stir frys and or eat as a snack.

This is what is needed in a good stir fry.The bamboo shoots are really nice and add a lot. Anyone who stir frys should have them.
