Mothers 05101 Mag & Aluminum Polish - 10 oz

While watching a YouTube video about car maintenance, the mechanic brought out of jar of Mothers polish and used it on the dulled headlights of a car and I was sold. No more using toothpaste and other oddball things to clean and polish - this does the trick. It's also been great on a variety of metal surfaces. Just use a clean, dry cloth and remember to rub it back and forth (not back and forth) and you'll finish your task in good time with a shining result. I definitely recommend it and will be keeping it on hand in the future.

This is not my first rodeo with Mother's. I have used it intermittently since the 1970s. I scraped two wheels on a curb. Local wheel shop wanted $275/wheel. I used a file, then sandpaper #60 through #1000. Then I applied Mother's. I have to get on all fours to see the VERY obvious damage from where I started.

Mothers 05100 Mag & Aluminum Polish is an outstanding product for cleaning headlights. I used it on my car’s foggy headlights, and the difference was incredible. I originally saw someone using this on their side windows of their car to get rid of the scratches and it does work for that to a point. if you have deeper etches in your glass, maybe not so much but it will smooth them out some making them not so bad. this does work good on other scratches around even the body of your car but I would be cautious not to use it too harshly. also works great on older cars and trucks steel bumpers and trim. Easy removal and fast to just get a bit onto your applicator and start using, I would recommend a power polisher whether it be a drill or an actual polisher.

I’ve been using Mother’s brand for more than 20 years and the end result is a mirror finish, I bought this small container to use on my firearms feed ramps and they look great, thank you for making a great product.

My son told me to use it on my clouded headlamp lenses, and it worked a charm. I applied it with the drill mounted foam pads that are also sold here, that he recommended and after buffing the lenses for a few minutes, I let the Mother's dry to a haze and buffed it off with a soft cloth. PERFECTO !!

I Bought Flitz, then I bought this. after using it for years. to break it down they are 2 different polishes. if you are working with plastic, paint, clear coated surfaces then go with Flitz. for stuborn chrome or aluminum, mothers is by far superiour.

I’ve used many polishes, but this one truly brings dull aluminum back to life. Just a small amount and some elbow grease, and my wheels look brand new again. Easy to use, smells decent, and delivers a high-gloss finish that lasts. Great value for the results!
