Esoteric use
I got these because I wanted to try a slightly lighter version of the OR PL100 gloves, which I adore. These are so thin they don't stay firmly on the hand as the PL100s do and slide around a bit, creating a clear gap between your hand and the glove, and diminishing dexterity where the PL100 doesn't (a feeling which may be preferable in limited situations). They are so light that they can't really be used for weather I would call cold, but for something like a crisp morning where the air is just a bit too cold to be comfortable. However, the PL100s can also be used comfortable in this environment. The main difference here is that these gloves have significant airflow whereas the PL100s do not (airflow isn't good in a cold environment, why would I use gloves in a warm one?). The glove provides a relief from the cold, but most times not enough, and in a warmer environment they aren't necessary. I am not sure which environment these would be preferable to a PL100 or equivalent glove, but it's use seems a bit esoteric, which is why I have barely used them. The review sounds negative, but I gave the gloves 4 stars because I like them when I can use them effectively. One star is missing because I almost never can use them effectively.

Light and comfortable, not well made
I just received these. Fit is excellent and very comfortable. The cuff is nice and not restrictive. The sticking seems to be good.I am going to use this as a liner for my MC gloves so I will updated after i ride a few times.Update:Worn the gloves 3 times so far. After the third ride when I attempted to pull the gloves off I heard the stitches pulling apart. Pretty disappointed in this. As a liner they work excellent, as well made that is another story.I will hem the seam but I suspect this is a temp fix at best.I will update in a month or so.Update #2The seem repair is holding well. Not sure but I am thinking I might have caused the issue to begin with. These liners worked flawlessly all winter. Very comfortable and lightweight. They do block the cold very effectively. I have raised my 3 stars to 4 stars. They have retained their size, have not stretched out. I will get another pair if I ever need another pair.

Nice pair of liners
I like the liner and it fits like a glove (no pun intended).I used it most of the winter and through spring. I used it by itself and as a liner for my Mechanix gloves or latex gloves. It was mostly used with the latex gloves when I do field work grabbing samples. With it as a liner for the latex, I can easily manipulate little test bottles and write. By itself it was good as well. The gripper pads on the tips we very helpful and I could use my phone's touch screen as well.Only reason I gave it a 4 start out of 5 was because the material was a bit slippery. The latex gloves tends to slip off so I have to constantly keep on pulling it back on. Also, the grip tips on the left gloves peeled off and the ones on the right rubbed off. Will still buy it again tho.

Nice warm glove liners!
I bought these to wear under my motorcycle gloves. I just got them yesterday, and already had a chance to try them out. I rode home last night, with these under my regular, uninsulated leather riding gloves; about 20 miles, 30 minutes, and well below 40 degrees. My hands got a little chilly toward the end, but not cold and numb, even my winter gloves in the same conditions would've had me warming my hands on the engine to keep feeling in my fingers. Now that I've got these, and found my winter gloves again, I can't wait to try them together, they should keep my hands comfortable down to freezing. They're more substantial than most "silkweight" liners, without being bulky at all, think UA Cold Gear material and you'll be on the right track. I tried them on with my winter gloves to make sure they'd fit easily, which they do, and as soon as I put my hands in the outer gloves, I got an immediate warm feeling in my hands, awesome!

Good gloves but...
There are better liners out there for the money. Although these gloves fit well and as a liner provide a good bit of warmth i think now id prefer a simple set of silk liners which would be less bulky.Side note the logo is easy to pick off on these if your like me and cant display stuff like that and the "touch" grip for your finger is useless. Hard to get it to work on a phone as its advertised to do but that might be due to my screne protector...idk.Overall the gloves are good but a slight bit bulkier than what i normally expect from liners.

Solid Glove Liners
These are decent gloves and quite good glove liners. I think the product description would benefit from an identification of their intended use (apart from 'base gloves').I use them for winter road cycling. Up to about 35-40 degrees F they are sufficient; below those temperatures I need to pair them with a pair of fleece over-gloves. That said, they dry very fast and breathe well (I have also used them while running). The quality seems fine -- typical of OR -- and I think they'll last quite a while.

They do produce good items over the fashion tendency some of the outdoor ...
As most OR products, this one works perfectly. They do produce good items over the fashion tendency some of the outdoor brands have gone. These can be used under other gloves but we have found that they do their job well even under freezing environment. Not for snowmen production but they keep you warm without being bulky. If they get wet, I have dry them by simply putting them inside my sleeping bag after rolling them on a towel or just shake them well.I totally recommend OR products.

A little warm
These are great, except for the main reason I need them - warmth. It's around freezing when I go to work most mornings (yes, even in the summer it can be 40 degrees). I can feel the added warmth using these under my leather gloves, but my hands still froze up this week. I'd like more insulation.Ignoring that, they seem well made. They have a long wrist that helps insulate a little more skin.
