Great product but
Price is beyond ridiculous. Had to have this brand and model so I had no choice. Aside from the price gouge it is an excellent product.

As advertised
Use these between your pool pump, filter, heater and chlorinator. It's better than cutting/rejoining the PVC pipe every time you have to replace something.

Avoid air leakage in your system.
I like the sturdiness of the schedule 80 fitting. It will resist any cracking and flow of water through the fitting. I am using this union in the suction line of a pond intake and will purchase another for use in the discharge side of the pump. I feel the heavy duty of the unions will help avoid any leakage.
