It fits! It works!
I had a doubt when I first pulled it out of the box, but it is a perfect fit for my Wickes branded workshop vac. The filter fits snuggly over the cage, and the bottom plate locks it in place. It is a massive improvement over the fabric filters that came with the vacuum cleaner, which is not surprising: The fabric gets sucked into the cage, leaving a small surface area to pull air through. This filter is corrugated, so the exposed surface area is considerably higher than the surface area of the cylinder. The vac is finding it much easier to keep up with the output from the table saw.

Genuine part
Not much to say really - it’s a vacuum cleaner filter and it’s a manufactured original. So weight, durability and fit are all pretty much what you’d expect.

Improved Vacmaster performance
So far very good. It improved the suction on my vac master and it’s doesn’t clog as quickly as the old card filter. Think it deals well with fine particles better.

Expensive replacement
For the price of four paper-type replacements, that are deemed to be no longer available, it seems a tad expensive particularly if (like me) you have other means of sucking up water spills? This item was advertised to be delivered by 1pm the next day - instead it took three and a half days - as Amazon opted to send it via Royal (Snail) Mail. In which case I just might as well have got it cheaper, and for the same tree days wait from a t'internet auction site!!

Fits Macallister 30l wet/dry
Fitted my macallister drum vacuum though the included end cap didn’t so I used the original one

Ce filtre est parfait pour mon Parkside. Ils s'ajuste parfaitement et est d'une qualité supérieure à l'original. Épaisseur du matériau de filtration, doublage intérieur par une grille.

Very good quality & may be a little pricy for a filter but comes with the locking mechanism below, plus it can be washed when dirty.
