Women's Dolly Boots

I have to say when I first ordered these boots, I was in love. I even bought them in two colors. The fit was great, the heels were quiet, and the boots worked for me in my work attire. I was going to be able to walk around my classroom comfortably and look pretty put together. These were the boots that were going to last me through the school year and hopefully longer. Unfortunately, I would only get a year's wear. The heels on both pairs of boots, for lack of a better phrase, blew out. They literally split and separated from the boot.I write this with the understanding that I am a large woman, I wore these boots on an extremely frequent basis, and probably walked around in them more than expected. That being said, I have purchased other shoes in the past with the same intentions, and they have lasted me a lot longer. When the Dunes company is able to improve the quality of this product to the point they're just as pleasing a year out as they were from the time of purchase, I will happily give them a second chance.

My first thought was that I received the wrong shoes, but looking at some other 3 star reviews, I can see I'm not the only one who was surprised.Looks:The color is really off. It appears much deeper , with rich variations in tone in the seller's photo, but it is much flatter, and closer to tan as you can see in my photos.Another thing which is way off is the way the lines of the shoe are presented. In the seller's photo, it appears as though the shoe has a more elegant look, the edge at the front of your leg appears quite elongated. It isn't elongated, at least not to the same degree you would expect from the photo. The shoe is lacking elegant curves; it is bulky looking, like a brown, shapeless marshmallow. I guess the roominess is what makes it so comfortable, but had I known it looked the way it did, I would not have ordered it. One of the shoes came pre-scratched, so I guess durability is also not in its favor.Feel:I only tried on 1 side. I did feel there was some cushioning on the bottom, but didn't test it out long enough to see how my feet would hold up. The zippers were not smooth at all; you can see that they don't lie flat, I'm guessing the zipper will become an issue fast. The part of the opening that is in the front is very stiff and felt irritating against my ankle/leg/whatever that part is called.Overall:It's not an objectively terrible shoe, but I still virulently hate it, and am returning it. From the other reviews here, I expected B.O.C. quality almost. These are around Payless quality. Perhaps if the seller had represented the product more honestly, I wouldn't have had *such* a beef with it.

I LOVE these booties! I had been searching far and wide for a vegan, low-heeled bootie. I first found these in black at a shoe store in the mall, and while at first it seemed that the front top edge of the bootie near my lower shin would rub uncomfortably, they soon stretched a bit and were fine. They are some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned, and they are adorable with all kinds of looks - skinny jeans, leggings, skirts/tights, etc. The sole is actually kind of cushy, so you can walk for miles in them. I just had to go online and find these in a light brown/tan. I said that they run a little large because I am normally a size 10 1/2 - 11 in close-toed shoes but these are size 10 and they fit perfectly. I highly recommend these booties.

For starter’s, the price for the quality of product this shoe is, is unbeatable. Similar shoes I have purchased that were the exact same quality and type of appearance in a shoe we’re normally overpriced at ~100... which is ridiculous if you think about it. I used to not think twice about spending stupid amounts of money on luxury brands that were all the rage, but that’s just so dumb to me now that I’m a parent and am considering it a success when I get out in public in acceptable attire other than leggings and T-shirt’s. Lol I was surprisingly pleased and shocked when i got these boots in the mail. They’re actually cuter and nicer looking in person. That rarely happens with online shopping. It’s usually the opposite. Go ahead and make the purchase when you’re in need for a cute and quality made shoe with leather like the much pricier booties are listed for. This is the boot dupe of the century. The zipper is on each side of the boot which I didn’t even know until I got them in the mail. It’s soooo cute and adds just a little more pizzazz to a basic bootie. Buy these whether you’re a thrift store deal seeking maniac or if you’ve got all the money in the world.

I LOVE these boots! I wanted to buy some in store for but founds these cheaper on here. They fit perfect! I ordered my exact shoe size. Shipping was very fast. They have zippers on both sides and don’t look cheap! I would recommend these to anyone :)

Just got these and looks wise they are perfect, exactly what I wanted with the perfect heel height. They are a bit narrow in the toe and even though I went up a half size they feel like they run a bit small, but they will break in and get more roomy. The dark brown is gorgeous and will compliment many outfits. Very cushy inside. I didn't buy them because they are vegan (bring on the steak, y'all!) Hoping the vegan shoe holds up like my leather boots. I do like that I won't have to worry about wearing them in the rain. I will say the front part that rests against your skin/leg kind of hurts. I think with wear that will go away. Very pleased with the look and price, hope they last!
