Rimmel Kind + Free Volume & Length Mascara, Black, 7ml

I ordered it as a second choice after trying the vegan elf mascara (which was a disaster). This mascara absolutely surprised me. Firstly when applied you can build it up and it doesn't clump up, it looks natural and just like a normal mascara. For me it was really important to be able to take it off gently and without having to rub my eyes too much. It totally came off without any issues with a very gentle make up remover.I've been getting a lot of hormonal treatment which means my lashes are not as strong and I kept losing them with your normal mascara. This item is so gentle and totally does the job.The only tiny thing that I could change is the brush/wand but I think you can use another one from a different mascara if needed though so far with a slow application I'm good.Highly recommend for those looking for a gentle version of a mascara that's easy to take off but still does the job you want it to do.

I couldn't recommend this mascara enough!! This mascara is kind to my lashes and free from any harsh chemicals. It's rated excellent on Yuka and I had to buy it because I recently have been wanting to take more care of my face when applying makeup.My eyes can be quite sensitive, but this mascara is incredibly gentle. No irritation, even after a full day of wear. It provides a beautifully natural look, enhancing my lashes without making them look overly dramatic. Perfect for everyday wear, however you can easily build up layers for a more voluminous look without any clumping. Stays put all day without flaking or smudging. I end up rubbing my eyes quite a lot throughout the day and it never smudges so is perfect for me! I love that it's made with clean ingredients like shea butter which conditions my lashes, helping them to become more nourished and much longer.It lasts 6 months before going out of date once opened which, compared to many other high-end mascaras, is only 3 months.It isn't waterproof, but this isn't a problem for me because I don't tend to swim or shower whilst wearing makeup, but this is definitely something to consider if you're a keen swimmer. Even though this mascara isn't completely water resistant, I have worn it in the rain before and it didn't start to run.Overall, I would definitely recommend this mascara to anyone and I have bought it 2 times already in each shade. I wasn’t expecting this mascara to be great because it’s just basic but I needed something for my middle aged eyes which get very sensitive and can be very painful if I use eye drops or spray and my eye make up runs. After buying it a few days ago at what seemed a very reasonable price, I’ve used it today and was pleased with the application, it’s buildable without getting clumpy and its coverage was great. It didn’t smudge on application like quite a lot seem to do. It seems to be good for length as you can see by the photo, not so much for volume (but that’s when you end up with clumps anyway). It hasn’t annoyed my eyes at all and I’ve cleaned it off without an issue. It hasn’t smudged, haven’t tested it in the rain yet, but for a day to day wear for sensitive eyes I’ll definitely keep using it.

Rather a lot of mascara on the brush when pulled out, making it difficult to apply. I usually have to wipe off the excess with a tissue before applying. Have used better hypoallergenic mascaras. The liquid itself is fine it’s just the applicator

Love this mascara, I suffered for years with my eyes to the point I just couldn’t wear mascara any more but this has never irritated my eyes and I never get panda eyes. Great product, I have had it on subscription for years now!

NOT SEALED!! I’m Not convinced it was a ‘new’ product. It was in big clumps, very bitty and smudged. I’ve just wasted my money😔

I bought this mascara because it's become very difficult to source my usual brand. This is half the price and I thought it would do until my regular mascara came up again. I used this for the first time this morning & was pleasantly surprised at how good it is. I thought the narrower brush wouldn't be effective (wrong) and it caught my shorter (growing) lashes without clumping. The consistency was lovely, too, and I only needed one layer. I've been wearing it all day and it's stayed in place well. It was packed with an anti-tampering label and arrived very quickly. I won't be looking out for my usual brand any more because I think this is better.
