Good size and good quality. Mesh is good for straining or washing and size is easy to store as it doesn't take up a lot of space. Very pleased.

I needed a strainer wash and drain my sticky rice for my Filipino bibingka malagkit. I know rice and strainers are an Uncle Rodger no no, but I needed that extra bit of comfort in knowing that I wasn’t putting too much water in my sticky rice (It’s been ten years or more since I’ve made any :( and I didn’t want to mess it up). I have hand and forearm pain and used to use the strainers that had the long, flimsy handle; kind of reminiscent of a child’s bug net which did the job, but the handles were always wobbly and the strainers themselves weren’t very big. I say I used to, because this strainer is going to replace all of them. It is not too huge and not too small. I would say it could fit two to three bell peppers or a basket of strawberries with ease. It is very sturdy and has two (not one) rather nice handles. The holes are small enough to keep rice which is what I purchased it for. Overall, I am happy with this purchase and would recommend it and purchase again.

I have other colanders, this one is great for rinsing beans, cleaning pie weights, washing veggies... Drains better than the ones with less holes. Easy to clean/rinse out. Love that it stands on its own.

I like the strainer very much I purchased to replace a plastic basket that got too close to a burner and became useless , good quality, light weight my only complaint is where the mesh meets the top the basket the folds are weird but doesn't affect quality or use

It’s a nice strainer but be careful it can be a sharp on places on the bottom.

Sturdy and nice looking

I thought this was wider at the opening. It will work for me. The depth was my main concern. That is good. Seems well made and the price was fair. Lots of holes for easy drainage.

This product is ideal as a strainer. The feet are sturdy & weight is more evenly distributed than hand held strainers. I used it to make Raspberry coulis. Perfect. Strainer fit into my bowl with space underneath to receive the fruit mixture. Mesh fine enough to keep seeds out as I pressed mixture through. It performed exactly as I hoped.

This is a very well built. The fine stainless steel mesh, as well as the handles and the body is all of solid quality. The size is suitable for a family of 4-5. 5/5 Recommend as long as you don't require large holes like a typical colander.
