1920s Flapper Dress Style-1

I am a person who relies on the reviews of others to make a more precise decision on my Amazon purchases. So thanks to everyone who takes the time to do so 🙌🏻 In the case of this dress I was undecided on the size. The chart suggested I should wear a small and the reviews were mixed on the sizing (some suggested M and others S) so I bought the 2 sizes just to try them both and then decide. For reference I’m 5’9”, I weight around 145 and 150 pounds and my bra size is 34C. I kept it in a small and it fit perfectly well as you can see in the video. The pictures in the sellers description page don’t do the dress justice. It is more beautiful in person. The quality is very nice and it doesn’t itch at all so it is made of a good quality material. For the price you are paying you expect more of a party city type of custom but this exceeded my expectations so far. It hold nice during my event and I dance almost the whole night. It just lost a couple of fringes here and there. Just be cautious when you are going to wash it because it may discolor a bit. I washed it by hand and hanged it up to dry. For size in my personal experience follow the size suggested by the seller’s chart. I do recommend this product 300%. Shipping was fast and it came well packaged.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I was really impressed with the quality of this dress. It exceeded my expectations for the price. The lining is a cheaper fabric but the top layer had a surprising amount of beading. I am 5'3" 120lbs and normally wear a size 4. The small size fit perfectly. The lining hit a little above the knee and the fringe hung below. I got SO many compliments in this dress and it was perfect for a 1920s-themed party. And it was comfortable to wear all night long.

I bought this dress for my Gatsby-themed birthday party, and it was exactly what I hoped for! The details are gorgeous—the beading and fringe add the perfect vintage touch, and the fit was flattering without feeling too tight. The material is comfortable, though the beading makes it a little heavier than expected (which actually makes it feel more high-quality). I got so many compliments throughout the night, and it photographed beautifully! Just keep in mind that, like most beaded dresses, you have to be careful with the fringe to avoid snags. Overall, a great purchase that made me feel like I stepped right out of the Roaring ’20s! Would definitely recommend for any Gatsby, speakeasy, or vintage-themed event.

I’m 5’7” 38-29-38 145 lbs 34DD and usually wear mediums. I’m glad I read the reviews and ordered up one size. The Large fit well, with not much extra stretch left in the top once zipped up. I wore this to a 1920’s Gangsters and Dolls themed party and got so many compliments all night. I was running around, crouching down, and even sitting on the floor with a pro camera in my hands taking photos of the event and not really trying to be gentle with the dress. It’s really well-made and sturdy. It held up extremely well, despite the intricate beading being so elegant. The long fringe at the bottom stayed intact, with only one string coming off as far as I’m aware. There’s a little bit more glimmer of green in the black/gold version. It wasn’t a deal breaker, but I will say that I didn’t notice this green hint in the photos as much as I noticed it in IRL.

This was a beautiful dress and so comfortable to wear for my Halloween costume. I am about 5 ft 5 and weigh about 130 pounds and a small fit me perfectly. I would recommend wearing spandex shorts underneath as you definitely will feel more comfortable. The lining of the dress was very comfortable and not at all itchy. The beading and fringe stayed on all night. One odd recommendation I do have is, I would wear it around the house and practice going to the bathroom in it before wearing it out. I wore it for the first time out at a bar and had trouble keeping the fringe up as I peed. It then got all stuck and tucked up in my nylons and spandex shorts when I tried to get redressed to exit the stall. A nice lady waiting in line had to help me get straightened out. I would imagine any dress with fringe would have a similar issue, so maybe practice going to the bathroom no matter if you buy this dress or a different one. I got more compliments on this all night It also came so fast. As a very busty girl it is sometimes hard to find things that cover me up but still look cute. This is sometimes especially true for Halloween costumes. I had a small amount of cleavage but was not self conscious in the bar. The beading on the dress was also rather tummy camouflaging in my opinion. Would definitely buy it again! In fact, a lady at work wants to borrow it for a Great Gatsby party.

This dress has a simple, flattering shape; fits well / as expected; the decorations and patterns are sufficiently complex to not look cheap. This dress is not unbearably scratchy on the inner arms like some beaded dresses can be. The dress is lightweight but opaque. The length is just right to show a little leg through the fringe. Size M fit very comfortably, not too tight; I used the size chart and my measurements and it worked out well. One can wear a normal bra with this dress. I’m super pleased with it all around!

This dress is officially my favorite “dressy” dress! It is so flattering, it’s elegant and classy(modest) yet so sexy. And you cannot beat the price! It doesn’t stretch, since it’s fully beaded, so I ordered the size according to the biggest area on my body (bust). I was afraid it would be too big, but it just fell naturally, moving with my body. My mother used some safety pins on the inside of the dress to tailor it in at the waist a little for me, because I wanted it a tad more fitted there. I wore it in Las Vegas with my hubby, on our “fancy” or dressy night out. I am also wearing a black sheer shawl with beads & sequins that matched the dress perfectly, I bought it separately. (⭐️I’m holding my shoes in the one photo I’m in, because that was the end of the night back at the hotel, and those shoes are the devil! But that’s another review…) In a couple of pics the sequins look blueish, but I think they just caught some light, nothing looked blue when I wore it. It’s all black. I received SO many compliments on my dress all night, I felt like a movie star! I want one in every color now. Love it, highly recommend! -Mrs. Mack

This dress is PERFECT. I’m always skeptical buying clothes online bc I’m curvier and usually the size charts are way off. I bought this dress to ring in the “Roaring” 20s and besides one short strand of beads that I was easily able to sew back on (and even if not, it wasn’t noticeable anyway), I have no complaints! I’m 5’3, almost 5’4, I wear a size 12 pant, a medium-large top, and a large-xlarge dress (because of my butt/hips/thighs) and I weigh 185 pounds. This dress is so flattering to my curves that need to be accentuated and yet does a good job of not hugging the wrong curves/fat. The fringe hits mid-shin (and looks so fun and flirty to dance in) and the dress itself ends a couple inches above my knees. It has a side zipper that I was easily able to pull up (unlike some dresses where you need to pull both sides of the dress together to get the zipper to go up). There was no struggling to squeeze into this dress! Definitely true to size. I’m in love! And it’s not too costumey, so I can definitely see myself wearing this in the future for other events. ❤️

Enfin une robe à la fois adaptée à ma morphologie, un bon 46 et un 100F à placer, et tout à la fois extrêmement soignée dans ses finitions. Le tissu est lourd et semble de qualité. Je l'ai achetée pour une soirée années folles, mais je pense que je pourrais la remettre facilement pour des soirées plus classiques tant elle fait son petit effet. Je recommande vivement, surtout que la livraison fut très rapide.

Also dieses Kleid war nicht für mich, sondern ein Weihnachtsgeschenk an meine Schwägerin. Da sie für Silvester noch was sucht fiel mir das auf. FARBE: so wie auf dem Bild QUALITÄT: man kann nicht meckern. Noch ist nix abgefallen oder kam mit Fehlern an. GRÖßE: Sie hat genau die Maße wie bei einer S und ich hatte Sorge das es ihr an der Hüfte nicht passt aber es war ideal. Nicht zu eng nicht zu locker. FAZIT: das Kleid ist vom Stil echt schön und coraööem grün ist der Hammer. Rot bestimmt auch aber sie hat grüne Augen und braunes Haar, da passt grün am besten. Sie hatte schon alles was zum Kleid dazu gehört und nun ist das Kleid da. Bin für Silvester gespannt wie sie aussieht aber die 30er sagen immer toll aus. Das Kleid wieg4 an sich auch ganz schön was so den Eindruck macht das es schon was viel mehr wert ist. Danke für das Kleid :-)
