After Darkness Falls: A Vampire Romance Paperback – April 23, 2019

This has a great storyline that goes back a while. It really doesn’t have much on the sexual side but is a great read on life and living under the cover of family. Really enjoyed her building friendships and trust with strangers.

This was a really good book. It wasn't as much of a romance as I thought it would be, but I enjoyed the plot. It entailed mystery, danger, excitement and the paranormal moreso than anything else.

I haven't felt a pull towards Ms. Sage's books since she stopped writing her Fairy Tale series, but with this incredible book, she has me hooked and back in love with her work once again! Everything about this book was intriguing and spot on, with a well developed cast of characters and captivating storyline all set in the richly detailed world of the Institute. I loved our heroine Chloe's spunky attitude and innate optimism and kindness despite all the negativity she's experienced in her past. Her and Levi are hands down one of my favorite couples ever and I'm dying to see more of them! I know Ms. Sage had stated this series is going to be made up of standalone novels, but I truly hope she circles back to these two because I would Love Love to see how their characters and relationship progress.

I really enjoyed this book. It was well written and the Characters especially Chloe were memorable. The story plot and pace of the book was exceptional. I highly recommend this Adult reading for vampire and supernatural readers.

This was my first vampire book, and my first romance book. I'm a huge fan of fantasy and sci-fi, so the vampire theme wasn't necessarily new to me, I just hadn't read anything vampire related yet. As a man, romance doesn't bother me, but I don't want the entire book to be filled with romance and no plot. And this book delivered. I love that the author was more focused on the story than the romance aspect. The story was well written and very gripping. It was hard to put down several times at the beginning, even more so close to halfway, but closer to 3/4 of the way through it was almost impossible. If you're looking for a great read that's got a hint of romance but also has a compelling story, this is the book for you.

I enjoyed the start of this series immensely. I cannot wait to see what happens next to Chloe. Very well written story. Descriptive spice which added nothing to story.

Good read, not what I expected,but got sucked into the book. I feel like a just turned fledgling and want more blood.

I liked how this wasn't a 'we know each other for two hours, let's spend eternity together' kind of story. It had everything I wanted, a bit of action, friendship, romance at the end. Would've loved to read more from the ml POV, but all in all it was a good read.

In my opinion this is the best book May Sage has written. Fantastic escape to a new world with an interesting plot and fully fleshed, cool characters. If you like fantasy this is worth your time. Will be ordering second in series.

I am not so found of vampire stories but this one is just the right kind. I liked the characters personalities, they were well built and interesting. The story unravel itself bit by bit and the mystery was just too much for me to stop reading for sleeping even if I really had too. The only bad thing is we have to wait for the next book. I am quite demanding with my male and female heroes but Chloe is smart and Levy super interesting and cute sometimes.
