WonderSlim Protein Pancake & Waffle Mix

I was happy to find these pancakes on Amazon. In fact, I like all the protein products by this company and BariWise as they are the same products I got from a bariatric physician I saw for weight loss. It gets tiring to eat the protein oatmeal daily so finding this pancake mix was great. It is so simple to make, simply take one of the packets (the box comes with 7), add 1/4 cup of water and pour the batter into a pan. I make two small pancakes rather than one large. They have a great taste, not artificial or that strong protein taste some products have. I put a tiny amount of peanut butter on them as an alternative to syrup and it makes for a filling and tasty breakfast. I sometimes crave the breads and chewy foods I no longer eat on a controlled card diet and so this really hits the spot.

I am on the HMR diet, and I was looking to change things up for breakfast when I came across these pancakes. (The HMR diet is similar to Wonder Slim with shakes, puddings, and bars, etc. It is just a different brand name.) The first time I made them per the package instructions. Like other reviewers mentioned, they taste like angel food cake, but they were a little blah. The second time I made them, I added a generous shake of pumpkin pie spice, two pinches of salt, and fresh blueberries. They were EXCELLENT! They were really indiscernible from a "real" pancake. I will definitely order these again, and I am betting fresh strawberries or raspberries would also be delicious in the pancakes. One word of advice, these cook and brown MUCH FASTER than a traditional pancake, so really keep your eye on them or they will overcook quickly.

These are good, not great, for a diet product. You just can't beat a real pancake with butter, etc. But these cook quickly, easy to mix, and taste well. Better when you know you are not eating tons of calories and can still enjoy with sugar free syrup!

Expensive. Comes in 7 small packs . One pack makes one pancake. Taste of nothing. It's just not good and cost way to much .

I was trying to find an alternative to the Optavia pancakes that didn't cost an arm and a leg and I thought, "How can you mess up pancakes?" Well, these pancakes did not fit the bill of what I think pancakes should taste like. They tasted like they had a cornmeal base, were chewy, and had a weird after taste with the syrup I put on them. I won't be ordering these again.

"I LOVE THESE PANCAKES"!!! They are nutritional and "VERY GOOD"!! I placed my 2nd order and I plan to order this item and this brand in the future!!! I ordered several items from this brand and I thoroughly enjoyed each item I purchased. They are perfect when you want something that taste good and doesn't ruin or interfere with your diet plan. They have the same nutritional ingredients as other weight lost products, but, they taste better and the price is reasonable. Anyone wanting something that taste good and will not interfere with their weight loss plans, this is the perfect solution!!

I have already lost 100 pounds using another calorie restriction plan, and after they discontinued my favorite meal replacements, I searched for an alternative, and found this here, on Amazon! This company is less expensive, is nutritionally comparable, and is very tasty and, most important- FILLING!!! I have just 26 pounds to go!! At 65 years of age, my metabolism is programmed to REALLY hang onto fat- and I was SO BORED with the lack of variety this other company offered!! Those final pounds are notoriously difficult to shed- but I’m going to WIN, damnit!!

I have been buying these pancakes on subscription for probably two years. They have been light, fluffy and very satisfying. This last order had smaller packaging and small content. I added the same amount of water (3T) and it was the consistency of milk, leading to a pancake the size of my pan and 1/8" thick! I tried less water next time and the pancake was tough and flat. Whatever they did to make them rise and become fluffy is GONE! Sadly, I will be cancelling my subscription.
