1443 Propane Insect Fogger for Fast and Effective Mosquito Control in Your Yard

All praise the glory that is the Burgess Outdoor Propane Mosquito Destroying Wand of Magic. I live in North Central Texas and the mosquito problem is insanely out of control. Ever since the mid 80's when the environmentalist were able to stop the use of city wide mosquito fogging and spraying by the municipalities there has been a mosquito epidemic. I have tried pretty much every possible mosquito control product available (including the mosquito traps - which work great by the way but are expensive and require a lot of maintenance.) Nothing I have ever used has produced the results of this precious little mosquito murdering package of joy. The construction of the fogger itself seems a tad flemsy but make no mistake this thing performs perfectly. The operation is very simple: 1. You fill the tank with mosquito killing love potion, 2. you insert your propane fuel source (the manufacturer highly recommends using the skinny 14oz tanks not the fat 16 oz camping tanks,) 3. light the fogging element, 4. pump the trigger a few times and watch the magic happen. This thing will produce a TON of fog and beats the pants of anything you can get from Home Depot or Lowes. The fogger will hold your blood sucking mosquitos at bay for at least 4 or 5 hours long enough for you to take care of business outside. The key is to find the source of your mosquito population and then lay waste to it. If you get rid of your still water sources around the yard and your neighbor's yard so the mosquitos can't reproduce then you will get far more bang for your buck out of this fogger. Also, did I mention it's really FUN to operate this magic mosquito exterminating machine? Once you light this puppy and start the fogging you will get thorough enjoyment out of fogging the grass, bushes, trees, shed, under the shed, rain gutters, the neighbor's grass, bushes ,etc. I wish I could hook 10 of these up to the back of a truck and drive around the entire neighborhood bringing foggy death to all of these blood sucking mosquitoes and become the neighborhood hero. But, alas, that is a dream. What is not a dream is this fogger - it's great, does what it says it does and is not a bad price given the return it will give you. P.S. I hate mosquitoes with every fiber of my existence.

This insect sprayer works very well and covers a wide area. It’s easy to use, highly effective against insects, and saves time. A great solution for outdoor pest control.

I was going to buy a different fogger but this one cost less. I didn't realize that in order to ignite this fogger, you hold a lit match under the metal shroud and then slowly release propane. It's easy enough but I kind of wish I bought the other for no other reason than convenience. I fired this one up w recommended Black Flag insecticide and fogged around the house. It works very well. You just need to get used to how much fog it creates when you squeeze the trigger. Be mindful of drips out of the nozzle after you're done. Maybe you have pavers or stones that might get stained. All in all, a cool product that definitely helps cut down on bugs. Also know that the manufacturer really stresses / recommends you use 14 oz propane tank and not the shorter stubbier 16 oz. They warn of "flare ups" with the later.

I bought this because my Daughter was having an outdoor wedding in a Florida garden full of dense vegetation and Live Oak trees. When we went to the venue to assess it, we were eaten alive by mosquitoes. It was at that point that we decided we would need to find some sort of mosquito control for the Wedding day. I bought this based upon other reviews and also because I felt it was the best way to cover such a large dense area. I visited the venue on Friday evening before the wedding and fogged the entire area (about 1/4 acre) in about an hour. I was careful to spray into large shrubs and bushes and also along open ground to ensure full coverage. The wedding was at 6PM Saturday evening and there were no mosquitos! In fact, there were no other annoying Florida bugs (gnats, no-see-ums) attacking us and the guests. I don't think this is something I would use everyday, but I will use it whenever we have outdoor events. It works very well and I highly recommend it if you have some outdoor family events planned; it makes it much more enjoyable.

Please do not waste your money on this fogger, if it has worked for others it must be a numbers game. Arrived today read the minimal instructions and put it to use, it would at best sputter out a 6" plume of fog 3' from the device. Tried everything, letting it heat up for 5 min., every trigger pull combination imaginable, every possible angle of delivery, no change. Checked the internal pump, seemed to work fine, inspected the nozzle, no blockages. I was duped, please do not be next!

Que esté aparato realmente funciona para su propósito de eliminar los molestos mosquitos, vivo en una zona con mucha maleza y una laguna, por lo menos paso las noches sin esa plaga, claro previamente tengo que termofumigar. Vale la pena la inversión.
