I bought this car for my 4 year old son as a replacement for a similar one from a different seller. He has only had it for about 24 hours so far, so I can't comment on long term durability or functionality, but from what I've seen so far it's a great value for only about $20. I was initially shocked and a bit disappointed when I saw how tiny the rechargeable batteries were, but my disappointment turned to being impressed when I saw how long it lasted! I was expecting 5-10 minutes run time, but the first battery lasted well over an hour of continuous play, probably closer to 1.5 hours. It also came with two batteries, so I was able to immediately swap it out with another fully charged battery, although that one lasted probably only about 45 minutes for some reason. It's the perfect RC car for my 4yo's ability level.Only negatives so far: 1) you have to unscrew the battery compartment to swap the battery, and the screw is tiny. I've already lost two. Thankfully, they supply two extras -- but having already lost two the first day it seems virtually unavoidable that I'm going to have to try to find more replacements at some point. 2) the rechargeable battery connector sand the connecting wires seem really flimsy. The connector is tiny and plastic. So definitely a job for a careful adult.

My six-year-old great nephew enjoys his new toy.He thinks is the best thing ever he loves playing with it inside and outside and he does put it up and take care of it.So I’m glad of that I wish though that the chargeable battery would last longer than what it does so maybe there’s something they can work on as designed and a stronger battery that last longer.That is why I only gave the battery three stars because the battery does not last very long. But overall it is a great toy the car itself is very durable and he loves it

My boys absolute loved this little car. It is fast and easy to get the hang of for 5 and 10 year olds.

Easy to use, robust, fast, and with cool features such as lights and interesting twists and turns. Fun for all ages of kids.Pros:Able to handle multiple surfaces.Speed.Variety of settings and controls maintain interest.Cons:Short battery life.Hard to open battery case.Hard to hook up battery charger.Tiny tools and screws mean the toy can't be used without parental help unless the child is old enough and skilled enough to handle small and detailed work.

My seven year old asked for a remote control car; based on others’ reviews, I bought this product.It did not disappoint! The car is durable and its battery has lasted way longer than expected. It plows full speed through our lawn, which needs to be mowed, and the lights are awesome. Highly recommend.

Update: The seller contacted us and offered to replace the car. We received a brand new car a couple of days later. We are very impressed with the customer service. The car works perfectly, and is so much fun!This product was purchased in February for our grandson’s birthday in July. The package was received wrapped in plastic. We did not open the plastic packaging and set it aside until his birthday. After opening it on July 7 to wrap for his birthday, we discovered the package had been previously opened and the parts were strewn inside the box. We were extremely disappointed in the product - definitely not suitable for a birthday gift. Very poor quality control.

Our son absolutely loves this remote control car! It's really great that you can just charge it vs. rely on replacing batteries. The quality is great and super fun to play with.
