Thrilling Adventure That Never Gets Old!
The Goliath Fireball Island Board Game is hands-down one of the most exciting and immersive games I’ve played. From the moment you open the box, the detailed 3D island, colorful components, and dynamic gameplay pull you right into the adventure. Every turn is packed with tension and fun as you race to collect treasures and avoid the rolling fireballs — it feels like playing a classic action movie! It’s easy to learn but full of strategic decisions, so both kids and adults stay engaged. Whether for game night with friends or family gatherings, this game delivers nonstop excitement and unforgettable moments. Highly recommend!

Family Fun
Great family game. Our kids love the challenge and adventure aspect to it.

Box damaged but contents are safe
The box came pretty damaged but the contents were safe. This version doesn’t have the helicopter or the stands to cover the middle part of the island. It’s a basic and cheap version but our son loves it! Worth those 15$

Not as awesome as the original
Still a fun game and brings back memories. Like how when you barely bump the board or the table ALL the marbles roll off and the entire board needs to be reset. I can’t believe this wasn’t something that was fixed since the first edition. Still fun just be very careful!

Craptacular
This is poorly made even by today’s standards. The game board is confusing and the marbles and pieces fall over when even the slightest bump occurs. It is nowhere near the quality of the older version from the 80s. It is also confusing for kids under 8 to play and boring for kids older than 8. Do yourself a favor and skip this. The most infuriating part would be the fact that it doesn’t pack away neatly either.

Different game play than the original
A friend of mine has the original and we had a great time playing on night, so I decided to buy this remake to play with my family. I knew the quality of construction was in line with todays standards (cheap and flimsy), but I didn't realize that they changed the way the game is played so much. In the original version you move your player by rolling a die and you gain action cards by landing on locations. You can then hold the action cards to do various things in the game which makes the game strategic and exciting. In the new game you draw a card for your turn, and you get one of like 5 different cards that include both how many spaces you can move and the action to be preformed. It is still a pretty fun game, but pales in comparison of the original.

Firstly I must say this arrived earlier than expected, and my son and I had a good time playing it... But that's the extent of my praise. The poor quality components included in this $70 game makes me feel ripped off. The board itself is three extremely thin moulded plastic parts that feel like the corners could split of you looked at them funny. The whole game is so light and flimsy when set up that rolling the marbles/fireballs actually shakes or shifts the uneven board pieces and pretty much every player and items fall off or over without being touched by the marble. I could understand if this happened a bit, but not when you have to reset ~20 pieces after every turn. The game also didn't even come with a storage box - which for $70 + shipping is massively dissapointing. It came in a very flimsy and cheaply printed box that opens on the ends, and certainly won't hold the board pieces when stacked, or the dozens of relatively small tokens and game pieces. I think the game itself is fun, but would highly recommend spending a bit more money on the actual full version "The Curse of Vul-Kar" which maybe for $100 actually comes with a box to store it in.

Family and I loved playing this together. I'd recommend, but don't think I would spend more than $25. However even if we only played it once, and took photos as we did, we'll worth the money for the family time and memories.

This board game was bought for my son and every time it rains we always seem to want to set this game up and have fun racing around the island, It is a great game to play with children and it looks great too with the whole island in 3d in front of you. Well worth buying
