You can use this book for its stated purpose of practicing Tinkercad but you can also use it as a reference for finding something similar to what you want to design. It's also just a fun book to look through. You might share it with a child and ask what they think each object is used for. As you'll quickly realize, some of the things in this book were meant to be machined in metal and would be useless in 3D plastic.

The inside cover states that this is a book of 200 Third Angle Projection Drawings. Readers will discover they are of mechanical parts, which although I am interested in them, others may want architectural drawings for example. Tinkercad is not a drafting program. It is a tinkering program. All of these drawings require a program capable of drafting, like AutoCAD for example, and so I found them extremely difficult to build from scratch in Tinkercad.

Beware. The 2nd point in this books Preface states 'This book does not provide step by step tutorial to design 3D models.'I didn't find that statement in the online description, otherwise I would not of purchased.

This book is not a step by step tutorial. It is a bunch of drawings with dimensions.
