Between porcelain and fair, which has a more pink undertone? the light shade looks very yellow to me. thanks!!

They both lean pink, but not much different in the shades really. The product does not offer much coverage or buildability. It is best for someone who likes a no makeup look and doesn't need much coverage, as it is more like a tinted moisturizer. It does leave a pretty glow, but I didn't find it hydrated my skin much. I used Wet n Wild dewy primer underneath.

Is this item a primer

I'm really not sure of it's a primer. It's advertising as a face hydrator with a hint of color. I absolutely Love it!! My face has never felt so soft and smooth. And it gives me really good coverage. You can build up or down on your coverage. That's what I love about it. My only complaint ...if you can call it that... Is I wish it came in a bigger sized tube. But I love it so much... I'll just buy 2 at a time if I need to. I'm 62 and I've finally found a light foundation that makes my skin look and feel Great!!
