Nice motor for sewing machine upgrade
Very easy install and much better than the old clutch motor. May still get a 40 mm pulley to replace the 75 for even more control. Everything looks good and is functioning as described. Pedal action is very lite and much less travel than before. Watch YouTube installs as they are much clearer than the instructions.

Great upgrade for an old industrial singer sewing machine
I replaced my old original 111W Singer clutch motor, with this CSM3000 servo motor. I have used my old industrial singer for 35 years, so I had learned to control the old clutch motor pretty well. This new powerful servo motor made sewing a whole new ballgame. I am able to control the speed at startup now without touching the handwheel ! No more background hum, just silence until I step on the pedal. On a safety note I plugged my sewing light into the new controllers one receptacle outlet and the light turns on and off with the motor. So when changing bobbins or replacing a needle I know that the machine is turned on or off by looking at the light without having to look at the controller switch. I did switch the original 75 mm pulley to a 45 mm pulley before I installed the new motor. The pulley bore is 15mm and does not need a set screw. It is too early to know about the longevity of the motor and controller, but the design and manufacturing appear to be well thoughtout and it works as expected. I would purchase again without reservation.

Exceeded my expections and a great value for upgrading a wood lathe to widely variable speed.
Exceeds my expectations greatly! Studied as much info as I could find about sewing servos and decided to give the 750w version a try. I am using this on wood lathe to replace a single speed induction motor and am very satisfied. I feared this motor would slow down under heavy load but it has plenty of torque and the speed controller compensates to maintain the selected rpm even down at the initial motor start speed shown as 100 rpm. I can hear the motor speed fluctuate for fraction of a second and only slightly when placed under load but motor compensates immediately and does not affect cuts. Current pulley configuration gives work piece a low speed of 39 rpm which works great for heavy unbalanced chunks of wood. Top speed of the work piece is well over 1000 rpm (I've not had the need to go top speed yet so I'm not sure what it is). The speed controller display shows increases in 100 rpm steps and is easily adjusted using the throttle lever (once I removed the return spring from the lever). Runs cool and consistent and shows no signs of struggle through everything I've done so far. Since this motor is smaller and lighter than most factory lathe motors, so creating a mount should be relatively easy. A great upgrade for a lathe which used to use a variable pulley to go from 500 minimum to 1200 maximum rpm. This is a good value option to achieve a variable speed lathe capable of a much lower initial speed than I used to have.

Works as It should!
Overview: Best upgrade you can do! Don't buy the smaller motor, get the 1HP 750W motor! Bought this after getting sick of dealing with the original clutch motor. Installation on my old Consew 226 wasn't difficult, but I did need to drill new mounting holes on the table which was the most difficult part. Getting the pulleys lined up and drilling the holes took a lot of careful measuring. I also had to recess the mounting bolts a tad on top to get the length I needed to get through my wood table top. Youtube videos of similar installs helped get it all together correctly. Once installed It has been working flawlessly. I only have about an hour or two of time on the machine since the install, but it is night and day difference. I specifically purchased this one because it has more power and is suppose to do better with thicker material and leather which I do on occasion. I tested it with a 1/4" piece of leather and it worked great. I also purchased the smaller pulley to get more torque, but I have found that I have not needed to install that yet and don't anticipate needing it. I will keep it in case the need ever arises. Only downside to this purchase was I bought the first one from the "Used Like New" section and I was sent yard lights instead of the motor. Once I spent time getting that straightened out, I just ordered a "New" one and it arrived without issue.

WOW what an improvement!
Installed this on my Singer 211G157 replacing an industrial clutch motor that weighs a ton. Installing this system decreased the total weight of the machine and table significantly. For the record I'm not a seasoned pro, more like a very green beginner when it comes to sewing I know just enough to be dangerous. That being said the installation was pretty straight forward. Pay close attention to the diagram and you should be ok. The speed setting was also easy following the provided instructions. I was able to sew a costume and not have to worry about it going 100MPH in a flash. Getting a needle position sensor is the "cherry on top" for this system. Now I'm looking forward to more sewing projects and comfortably learning how to expand my sewing skills.

Plenty of power
These are great never had a problem. I have 3 of them on my machines and if another motor dies I’d replace it with this. Plenty of power for an industrial machine.

Didn't work, test before mounting.
Test the motor first before mounting it. After removing the original motor and mounting the csm 3000 it would only operate for a few seconds before tripping my GFCI. Tried every outlet in my shop with no luck. I'm returning the first one and trying a second one, we'll see.
