I looked at hundreds of glasses on-line to find a simple, stable, easy-to-wash glass that would hold a 12oz beer with freeboard for head. Very glad that I finally found these glasses, because they fit my requirements perfectly. But, although my requirements were utilitarian, I found that these glasses are, in fact, quite elegant. First, the glass is perfectly clear without the least hint of green. Second, the walls are nice and thin (and very uniform). Third, the rims are mechanically polished, rather than the more pedestrian flame polish. And Fourth, there’s the Bauhaus form-follows-function aspect to these glasses. When I ordered them, I was a bit annoyed that I had to buy six when I wanted only two. But after seeing how nice they are, I’m very glad to have six. One caveat. The glass is said to have 15-1/2 oz capacity. But my box stated the capacity as 44 cl (centiliters). That’s indeed 15-1/2 UK fluid ounces, but only 14.9 US fluid ounces.

BECAUSE IT IS TOO FRAGILE , THE GLASS IS VERY THIN , STILL - I WOULD RECOMMEND TO PURCHASE THIS GLASS.IT IS UNIC AND VERY VERY BEAUTIFUL. A fantastic and elegant solution for water cups. Thin lip - which is important to me; as well as a delicate feel. That being said, they stood up in the dishwasher just fine. I still would generally prefer hand washing though. A steal at $25 for six!

I was giving these to my daughter for Thanksgiving and the rim was chipped on a glass. Too late to return so I'm down to 5 glasses and stuck with them. I'm writing this to warn you to check the glasses as soon as you get them, especially if giving as a gift.

These are lovely glasses and this is my second set, just to make sure I have enough matched glasses for guests. They are surprisingly sturdy for being so thin and elegant. The other thing is that they are large enough to double as water glasses and small enough for other purposes.

I thought they felt nice in the hand - delicate and sophisticated. The two women I showed them to disagreed and thought they felt thin and almost cheap. I guess it's about expectation, haha. What's elegant in a wine glass can feel fragile in a water glass. And even I'd be worried about putting them in the dishwasher to bang around with the coffee mugs. Just know what you're getting into!

I saw these at a restaurant and looked them up online. I bought a set in 2018 and none of them are chipped, through many cycles in the dishwasher, all these years later despite how fragile they look and feel. Very happy with them.

Coolest glassware I've eve owned ! I was worried like others about the thin style but they are more durable than you'd think. It took 8 years and I finally broke one. Dropped it on the floor. It was like slow motion as it fell.. I'm glad I was the one who did it and not a guest. For anyone buying replacements these ARE different than from several years ago. They have a slight concave bottom vs. the flat bottom of the originals. Not sure if the glass is different. Seems the same though. I just thought it was worth mentioning if you're OC like me about a matching set.
