I bought this to replace a smaller pestle that broke, and I’m so glad I did. The size of this one makes all the difference — it's easier to handle and lets me grind ingredients to a much finer consistency than my old one. Solid, durable, and works beautifully. Love it!

I dropped my last pestle on my stone floor and it broke. I have owned my set for so many years it really upset me. I was lucky to find this product. It is slightly larger and heavier than my last one but that works out. I now have arthritis in my hands so the larger one is easier to use. The nose is “rough” and that speeds up grinding. All in all I am happy with my purchase and recommend it.

This pestle did the trick when we lost or broke our previous one. We had to determine the size and the style/color, and this one actually turned out to be a perfect match.

Works great. Perfect size for a full bowl of something. Not realistic for teaspoon sized grinding. This thing will take on the tough jobs!

I had broken mine a few years back and kept my mortar. Worked wonderfully. Does it match my mortar.....no but that wasn't a priority of mine. Good weight to it and fits well in your hand.

I found a beautiful granite mortar at the thrift store and I went on the hunt for a replacement pestle. I purchased this one. Although it is not an exact color match is is perfectly fine for me.

Use this to crush pill medication that is sprinkled on food for my cat. It is larger than expected but works better than the old smaller one.
