The story behind this original painting is the story of "Sitting Bull" being shot to death by the U.S. Cavalry when he tried to escape so he could retrieve his son's remains for a proper burial. I've decided to sell this original painting so that someone can enjoy it in their home. The canvas is the highest quality Windsor Newton, and the vibrant paint is Golden acrylics. It is covered with a tough protective coating to last more than 50 years. It is a deep canvas (2 inches), and it is already ready for hanging.
