Feather Duster with Ostrich Feathers (14) Black

Perfect for dusting down shutters and that is what I bought it for so very happy. The feather duster is a good size and well made. The price was also very reasonable.

A nice length strong and sturdy, a good colour and full feathered design, the feathers are super soft and can be arranged to give more or less fullness, great for dust removal and also works well for wafting incense to clear stagnant energy in the home. Great value and quality with multi functional uses.

Bit short, not as good quality as I thought it would be.

Very bad, throw away already! Hair coming off when you move the brush, didn’t use it often at all, after couple months on the cupboard, when I use it again the brush hair came off.

The duster was perfect for cleaning prints and painting as it doesn't spread dust all over the item being cleaned also ideal for ornaments. Duster lightweight and ideal for most items but would need a longer handle duster for harder to reach use. Would buy again. Good value for money.

Good for removing the dust, very light and it does the work

I did a comparison of 2 feather dusters I bought from the same company and was told they came from the same supplier. I have never seen one as huge and fluffy as the first one I bought about 25 years ago. Flylady had some special made, but my old one is many times better. THIS one says it is 14". I have not measured, but it looks as represented in the photos, other than they did not quite capture the quality of the feathers. They are EXACTLY what anyone should want in a small duster. The price was reasonable, but for a huge one, it would probably cost $60 to get LONG feathers of this quality. I like having small and large dusters. If, as manufacturer suggests, you use one to dust your car between car washes, be sure to have one dedicated for car exterior use. There are times I like to dust with a dry or damp microfiber cloth, but Ostrich feather dusting is my favorite. You can stick the handle into the wand attachment of your vaccum cleaner for extended reach. I think a much bigger, longer-handled duster is a must-have tool, but this will do in a pinch. It does need some special care, may need washing occasionally. Dust before vacuuming and periodically tap the duster handle against your shoe to knock excess dust off onto the floor, where it can be vacuumed up. If it sheds slightly, just vaccum up fragments. This is "economy" level, but a good deal. I found the unfinished handle smooth enough, and comfortable. There is a hole in case you want to thread string through the handle to hang it to store. Never buy a chicken feather duster for dusting. They are good cat toys, comforters for baby chicks, and make neat "faux finish" designs when used to paint. I can't recommend this highly enough. If you check out you tube, Feather Duster Comparison Lydia Hubbell, you will see the 2 I got from Jeff Campbell's "speed cleaning" company (I have his cleaning books, too). If anyone ever finds one like my old one, let me know in comments. I am curious about why such LARGE high quality dusters seem no longer in production. Libman duster seemed inferior to this item, and Flylady's was bigger, but nowhere like my old one. This is an eco-friendlier alternative to swiffer dusters and other disposeables. This is perfect for a child to dust non-fragile items, and baseboards.
