No Go
The reason for this rating says it will work for 1995 Ford Escort LX Wagon but it went in fine here is the problem computer and it Don't synchronize like there suppose too found this out after had too take it too garage and pay too have put on machine and One from Napa worked

Sensor worked, but not for long
Good replacement señor for a temporary fix till you can buy an OEM unit. I installed this in my 5.0 mustang and it solved my coolant fan problem of not turning on at temp. This was short lived however after a a month. I ended up with a FORD OEM sensor and all is well

Incorrect reading for mid 90s Ford.
Thermistor scaling appears to be incorrect for a mid 90s Ford. Reading cold was near ambient. Reading hot was 30+ degrees low. This could potentially lead to engine damage if spark and fueling is incorrect for the engine temperature.Also did not have a weather seal in the sensor connector.

Plug in go vroom
Direct replacement for a 1989 5.0 Ford sensor. Screw it in, plug it in, start the car. 👍🏼
