I don't usually post reviews, but I felt that this product was deserving of praise. Ordinarily, I would want something sweet but since the coffee flavor was higher in protein than the other selections, I figured I could add sugar if it really needed it. I've used this product in about 12oz whole mild and found this to be a very nice flavor and have not been the least bit tempted to add sugar; I've yet to try it in water. I also found this product to dissolve easily with vigorous stirring using only a spoon. I was also attracted to this product based on advertised testing, return policy, higher protein percentage and source - no hormones/antibiotics.

I've been looking for a protein powder that isn't chalky or gritty, doesn't taste like protein, doesn't have artificial or other sweeteners and is easy on the stomach. Well this ticks every box! This is delicious! No chalk, no grit, no residue at the end of the cup, blends extremely well, not sickly sweet, taste like coffee and not chemicals. I absolutely love this stuff. I can't stand Stevia and too much sugar alcohol gives me headaches and stomach upset. This has none of that and I'm so happy with it!

I have been searching for a protein powder that I can have with the extreme restrictions in my diet. I thought this was going to work, and I was thrilled that it came in coffee flavor. It is such a huge disappointment as it tastes awful and in no way resembles anything close to coffee flavor. I should have gotten vanilla. I need the protein however am highly disappointed in this product!!

I decided to try this out on a lightning deal and immediately bought it again when I saw I was running out! It's great in the mornings for a "pick-me-up" coffee boost and a protein shake all in one. It keeps my hunger to a minimum until right before lunchtime and keeps me productive throughout the morning! I love the flavor (I normally drink black coffee for those trying to judge flavor) and it takes just like an unsweetened iced coffee when mixed with just milk! Add some chocolate syrup or sweetener and it's a great alternative for that store-bought iced coffee! I have no problem with the mix clumping up when I use my blender or shaker bottle, and it doesn't have that chalky or clumpy texture that most protein powders on the market.

Pros: Quality ingredients (there's literally only three listed). No weird sweetener taste. Very filling. Cons (but not really): Zero sweetness and a little bit bitter (it's coffee-flavored so it's expected--but easily fixed with a touch of honey or sweetener of choice. I'd much rather have zero sweetness than weird aftertastes that come with other brands. For example, my daughter uses Chike protein shake and I just can't bear the flavor. I mix mine with canned 100% coconut milk, almond milk, collagen powder, a touch of vanilla and honey then blend with a couple of ice cubes. I often use it for breakfast on days when I don't want warm bulletproof coffee (the typical start to my day). Highly recommended

I brought my review stars up to 3 because of the excellent customer service! Although this protein isn't for everyone I'm very pleased at how the founder handled my feedback! My original review: I have tried multiple different recipes to be able to use this protein, however, I have not found a recipe I enjoy. This powder definitely has a very potent after-taste and it's something I just can't get past. I have added peanut butter powder, banana, and almond milk to it with no luck. Tried adding a sugar free creamer to it and that did not help either. I have tried watering it down more and that did not help. If you are weary of protein powders with funky tastes you probably should not get this coffee protein powder.

As someone who does not like artificial sweeteners or stevia, it is hard to find protein powder that tastes good. I mostly use unflavored whey. When I decided to try this coffee one, I was pleasantly surprised by the taste - it makes my protein oats and shakes taste akin to a coffee milkshake. It is just protein and instant coffee, so I appreciate the limited ingredients. I do add a dash of maple syrup when I use this to sweeten it a bit, otherwise I found it a tad bitter (I also do not drink black coffee). I bought the chocolate one a month later and also really like that one. It goes great with strawberries/raspberries.

I was so extra to try this product but when it arrived, in an Amazon bag with other items I ordered, the bag was punctured so everything I ordered was throughly coated in protein powder. Another item I ordered the package was opened and an item was missing-that’s beside the point but leads me to believe my items were tampered with at the facility it was sent from. I reached out to Amazon customer service who was amazing and refunded me and allowed me to keep what was left of the item. Now I was super skeptical to try this as it quite obviously was not in good condition, however I was so excited to try it, I did. I ended up adding some instant coffee to it and a little more sweetener and it’s really really good! Blends up well with one of those frother things, no clumps and tastes great after adding in more coffee and sweetness. I will definitely be re ordering, hoping for a better experience with the shipping.
