After a search for this style of shoe that Merrill put out years back, I was excited to find that someone out there still sold this style of shoe. Since I had a pair for about 15+ years, I wanted another pair because they fit comfortably on my feet, gave me the arch support that I needed and stood up to the many hiking trips that I had taken them on. After receiving this new pair, they fit just right like the old pair I had. I may end up ordering another pair as a back up but wish that they still had the many choices on colors. But these will do.

After 3 years of use, I see my Marrell boots asking for replacement, an extremely comfortable product for everyday life, I recommend the purchase... I don't see the time to purchase similar boots

These shoes are stylish, comfortable and as far as I can tell sturdy too. I bought my usual size (9) and they fit perfectly. Bought them more for leisure wear than serious walking (for which I have proper boots). They're comfortable all day long and the dark blue leather tones well with most of my trouserage. Quite heavy, so they can start to feel warm if worn for long periods, but I wouldn't fault them for that. Strong soles, don't seem to slip on wet pavements, smart appearance, what's not to like? Good price, and delivery was far faster than expected too :-)

I have had a few Merrell shoes, and tried others. I keep coming back.

I really like Merrell's. They are my go to shoe for every day use, hiking, climbing, and work. But this pair isn't holding up well. I'm on my feet all day at and walk about 4-6 miles at my job each day. The tread at the heel of the left shoe is coming unglued from the bottom of the shoe. The toe is still glued, but just at the ball of my foot I can feel it pulling away as I walk. Nothing vissible yet, but you can definately feel it. I'm constantly looking down to see what is stuck to the bottom of my shoe only to remember that it's the rubber tread pulling away. Hopefully I just got a bad pair. I'm not soured on the brand yet, but not happy with this pair.
