Noisy but good
Had to modify the fan control, was pretty noisy but after some research it wasnt too difficult you just have to modify a config.

First got fried
The first unit got fried after a lightning ground strike on the far side of my house, the Pi was fine though. Replaced the PoE HAT and all was working again.

1/3 coil whine
Bought 3 one of which has the poe+ cool whine issue, can’t use. Noise is too irritating. Easy to install, annoying to remove from cluster.* update * coil whine unit fan also not terminated correctly and needs to be half socketed to spin up

Bought Two, Both Died In Months
Bought two of these PoE hats, both died after a few months of use. The fan stops spinning up, and the board overheats. Luckily neither failure fried my Raspberry Pi.

Arrived broken, more hassle to replace than worth.
Useless product, showed up busted, have to return, but disabled to take it somewhere to be rid of even. I'll eat the wasted $40, curse their name, and not bother ordering another. Thank you so much.

Fails at every level
It just BARELY powers the Pi.If you plug in or unplug USB devices, it will CRASH the OS due to power loss and reboot.Other that that complete failure, it also:Blocks the PINs so you can't plug in another hat. It's so low your heat sinks will short out the hat.The mounts that come with it don't allow you to mount the Pi in a case.Oh, and did I mention you'll CRASH your Pi if you need even slightly more power?

Works great.
I am looking at adding some Pi's as a cluster and being able to POE them is very helpful. This hat also fits on top of the Pi and still permits regular case installation.
