Bad battery life-Good main camera but bad ultra wide camera-Good performance-Bad heat management
Camera (3/5):Shooting photos and videos with this phone main camera is amazing, even in low light. It would always impress me, the stabilization is also good. The downside is the ultra wide camera. Shooting videos in low light with the ultra wide camera results in a washed out video. The quality is so bad that it is embarrassing to call this a "Pro" version. My 3 years old OP8 (OnePlus 8) shoots a way better ultra wide video in low light, and the camera is the OP's weakest point... The front camera photos are underwhelming. The telephoto is great, however, I only got to test it in normal lighting.Battery (1/5):This is a 5000 mAh battery device, it should last you the whole day without any trouble. Left home with 72% charge on my OP8 and 78% on the Pixel. I used Google Maps on my OP8 for 1h34m, 30 minutes of it is probably searching for places, the rest was for navigating around the cities. On the other hand, I used the Pixel for taking a few photos and 2 short videos, not more than 10 minutes of usage. Used it for chatting for around 45 minutes. This was a 8 hour trip. The OP8 went down from 72 to 39, the pixel went down frok 78 to 32. 33% with 1h34m Maps vs 46% with 45 min of chatting and a few shots and 2 videos. I tried Anker's 30W charger, and it charged around 13% in 10 minutes – definitely not 30W, my OP8 does 20% in 9 minutes. The phone's battery did well on Wi-Fi though, so the problem might be with it cellular receiver.Software (2/5):Google's phones are known for their "software". I am not impressed by it, not even a little bit. The camera app would crash so frequently that it got on my nerves. I bought this phone to take photos, and it has built its image on simply doing that, but they can't program an app that functions properly. Google assistant does not work when the phone is locked. I enabled the option in the settings for the assistant to give personal data when locked, but it didn't work. The routines in the Google Assistant didn't work either. The rest of the commands worked fine.Performance (3/5):The phone is fast, I didn't challenge it much except with compressing some videos. It is fast, and weirdly enough, it compresses videos to smaller sizes than on my OP8. It does heat up a little while compressing but that seemed normal to me. However, I noticed that it heats up a lot more with normal use (taking a short video, sharing it, chatting a little bit, YouTube) than my OP8.Build (4/5):The phones looks amazing to me (highly subjective) and feels premium. However, the display seems hollow to me when I tap on it with my finger nails, comparing it to a Samsung A31, Note 5 and the OP8. I bought the white color – Google (and pretty much all companies) feels like they need to call it some weird name cloudy starlight or whatever – and it looked quite good. I hated the shiny aluminum frame, it looked like the shiny plastic frames you find on the A series from Samsung. The speakers are not good at all, but I am used to the OP8, which has one of the best speakers out there. I can't exactly describe how it sounds, but it sounds like when you turn on the "surrounding" setting for your headphones.Fingerprint reader (3/5):It is fast enough when it actually tries to read your fingerprint. What does that mean? There were many cases where I lift the phone, it lights up and shows the fingerprint reader, I place my finger there and nothing happens. I lift my finger and retry, and it reads it perfectly, never missing. I guess the phone would wait for the animation to finish playing before attempting to read my fingerprint.

Google is top notch!
Ok so I got the phone in the original packaging, sealed and brand new, first of all make sure to update your device to the latest OS version (android 13) at the time of writing the review, the side buttons are tactile, the device feels super premium, the screen resolution is amazing along with 120 hz refresh rate, charging is a bit slow but that depends on your power adapter wattage, the camera is where it really stands out and easily overcomes the iPhone and Samsung, the seller is great and I highly recommend buying it, note that with the latest update all issues are addressed and solved specifically with the heating issues, it's no longer present, 5G in uae will be supported on June, #TeamPixel all the way!

Locked to Verizon
Excellent phone. Easily the best phone after iPhone. Far better than my S22+ in all aspects. Came locked to US Verizon. Contacted seller directly and they managed to unlock it remotely within half day.

Worst phone I've ever owned
A caveat here: as a computing device, this is pretty solid, though not incredible. It has an amazing camera and it's pretty snappy. But as a phone...it's borderline unusable. It's 5G capable, but I'm never on 5G. Or even 4G. It spends most of its time on LTE or with no connection at all, something that my old Note never did in the same area with the same carrier. A restart sometimes helps, but usually only slightly. I've not once had full bars on it. The battery barely makes it through the day, because 46% of the battery usage is searching for cellular signal. It drops wifi, texts won't go through, often simply won't bother dialing when you input a number, and only directs calls to me about 40% of the time. I'll find voicemails from people wondering why I didn't pick up when the phone never even rang or notified me that a call was coming in, often WHILE I'M HOLDING THE PHONE AND LOOKING AT IT. If a call does go through, it often sounds like I'm talking to a robot. Turns out, I'm not alone...number one complaint on this phone is the poor connectivity. Google even has a beta program to try to fix it, but they've so far failed. I've tried to trade it in for a new phone, and no one will accept this one as a trade in.It is also prone to glitches, crashes, and occasional screen non-responsivity. Not to a degree that it's a dealbreaker, but certainly more than I've experienced with other phones.A couple subjective dislikes: I don't like the stock Android interface. I loved it on the Pixel 1, but the updates have made it so that I have to memorize gestures, and I prefer simple "back" and "Home" buttons. The camera bulge is just a big bar all the way across the back and it's ugly as all hell. But that's just me, your mileage may vary on that.Bottom line, if I'd paid $350 for this thing, I'd shrug and say "oh, well, you get what you pay for." But this is a $1200 flagship phone that flat out won't work most of the time. I will never again buy a Pixel, which is sad because the Pixel 1 was one of the best phones I've ever had.

Fingerprint sensor is as problematic as they say…
This phone has a lot going for it. Beautiful display, sleek design and immaculate construction. The Tensor chip is fast and can easily handle everyday activities.Battery life on a single SIM is also very good. All day easily by my use. And with careful monitoring, it can reach 1 and a half days before conking out.So far this is a 5 star review UNTIL you get to the fingerprint sensor. This thing is frustrating. It often fails to sense your finger even with dry hands and even worse when having non-dry(moist, clammy or mildly greasy) fingers. And yes, I have tried multiple recordings of the same finger. The fingerprint sensor is something you interact with each time you pick up the phone. To be frustrated each time is just exhausting.

Incredible camera; Terrible fingerprint reader, battery and Bluetooth
As a current-gen "pro" level phone, the Pixel 6 Pro leaves much to be desired. If you don't absolutely need the best camera available today, I suggest the Pixel 6a as the best value in the current Pixel lineup.POSITIVES: The physical design is aesthetically pleasing, with the clean camera bar in the back (as opposed to the weird asymmetrical multi-lens configurations on many phones today) and just enough "Google" look and feel to differentiate from the raft of other phones. The Stormy Gray color is very nice (although once you have a case on it you barely notice the phone itself). The OLED screen with the curved edges and almost invisible bevels is beautiful and elegant both to feel and see, and the 120Htz refresh rate is super smooth (when it works, also a complete battery hog). As per usual for Pixels, the OS is pure Android and the user experience is superb (it ships with v12 but v13 installed almost immediately upon setup). There are innumerable ways to customize the phone settings, so once you get it adjusted for your use and preferences, it is a very functional phone (subject to the items noted below). The CAMERA is spectacular, with both wide-angle and telephoto capabilities; hands down, the best pictures I've ever taken with a smartphone. The Night Sight actually works for stars and other dimly lit landscapes, the Magic Eraser is super cool to remove unwanted objects, and the motion setting allows you to take some really excellent shots with blurred backgrounds. All in all, the camera is top-notch with a huge range of capabilities and just takes your smartphone camera to an entirely new level.NEGATIVES: #1 The in-screen fingerprint reader is basically junk, works less than 50% of the time, much less functional than previous Pixels with a dedicated reader on the back (which you can do without looking at the screen, unlike the Pixel 6). #2 is battery life - I had to turn down the screen refresh rate, reduce the brightness, and turn off Bluetooth (more on that below) to get the battery to last a full day (like morning to evening, not even 24 hours). #3 is Bluetooth - This device will not connect to numerous (albeit mostly older) BT devices, all of which worked on my all prior Pixels (now half my other hardware is no longer BT compatible with my new 'pro' phone). #4 (minor but weird) The phone is weirdly slippery to the touch (like it's covered in some PFAS anti-stick coating), and it literally slides off surfaces and out of pockets...not sure why that was considered necessary but it's just weird and unhelpful (a case addresses this). #5 Google Assistant - I know the AI is supposed to be a huge deal (and I'm sure technologically it is), but I basically turn off Assistant for several reasons: it seems to turn on all the time (even when you don't want it to), I don't want to talk to my phone much of the time (like anytime I'm in public), and too often it's just not helpful, so it's mostly novelty for me but I don't rely on it for anything.Overall the camera is what sells this phone (noting Pixel fans will love the excellent pure Android experience and overall design of the phone). Keep in mind the other Pixels have the same processing software and chip, so you get much of the same value with the 6 and 6a. If you don't absolutely need the camera, look at the 6a as the better value. I got this at a substantial discount when Google started marketing the 6a and hinting at the 7, otherwise I would have gone with the 6 or 6a. I would switch back to my Pixel 3A XL, but I needed a different phone to switch carriers. Already looking forward to trade-in for a Pixel 7.

"Upgraded" from Pixel 3XL...
Although this phone is faster, has more ram, 5g, bigger battery and higher screen refresh rate.... The screen is a downgrade from the oled on my 3xl. Pixel 6 pro is on the blue side with white balance and actually has less pixel density than 3xl. When I look back at my 523ppi 3xl with the warmer white balance and better blacks I miss it.The speakers on my older 3XL are much louder than the 6 Pro. I think the speakers on this phone lack volume compared to any other phone I've heard. Dissapointed. The front fingerprint reader is annoying and any glass screen protector is going to have a circular finger dot visible in the middle of the screen where the thumbprint goes which looks horrible with the screen on or off. Should have kept the reader in the rear like the 3xl.The curved glass edges of the screen are supposed to look more premium, but the color and tint changes around the edges when you look at it from slight angles. Also makes it hard to select button near the edges of the screen The bluish tint is a hige dissapointment, and putting the phone on the 'nightlight' warm tint is just far too warm. Would have been nice to have a neutral white/grey interface.I bought a notebook style case that is supposed to be magnetic on the front to hold the flap closed, but there is no metal edges to work with the magnet. At angles the curved edges of the screen look dim and discolored... very distracting to the overall aesthetic and makes the phone look cheap. The camera lenses are good ... an improvement. The 4x Telephoto and taller screen are the only real upgrades I appreciate. The larger 5000 mah battery takes longer to charge and you will only be able to buy a 30amp charger from googles website which I am still waiting for delivery. Phone seems to burn through battery quickly with the faster screen refresh rate. I have turned it off so it stays on 60fps for now.To use assistant you need to press the power button and hold it down. Not sure if you can even call it a power button, because I could not figure out how to power off my phone in the beginning.Overall this is a really good phone that takes great pictures, but for it's time, the 3XL had better speakers and a better OLED screen. Google seemed to focus more on the software upgrades than the hardware upgrades and it is noticeable when side by side with a Samsung Galaxy S22.... however the Galaxy is $500 more so it makes sense. The only reason I give this 4 stars instead of 3 is because I bought it for the photography, and image quality has not disappointed me yet.... although nightside is still a bit slow to use.

It's an upgrade
I traded in my 4A for the 6 Pro, I didn't want the plain 6 because the screen is too small for me. I had major adjustments when I switched from my 3XL to the 4A because the screen was so much smaller. I miss the fingerprint reader on the back of the 4A though. This one is on the front of the screen and it's harder to use and seems harder to work. The battery seems to run out fairly quickly, my son did some tweaking to remove some things, but the battery still runs out fairly quickly if I'm using the phone. The cameras are wonderful though.
