The LED in this switch is so dim, you cannot tell it's on, even in the shade, nevermind on the helm, on a bright day. I had to wait until dark to confirm that it worked. This switch IS NOT SUITABLE for a helm station or anywhere in daylight. Very surprising as it is a Blue Sea System switch which were generally of good quality back in the day. Obviously, quality control has slipped at BSS. I will keep it as a spare to use indoors and source one with a brighter LED.

Fixed my livewell issue no problem. Easy install and seems like good quality.

LED Stays on all the time and drains my battery. Solution was to not wire up the led. Would be better if the LED turned on when the switch is on, and off when the switch is off.

These worked great. Fit well in Blue Sea Contura brackets. Some of the female clips I installed were tight, but they stayed put with lots of installation pressure. BTW - don't worry about ground circuit wire size for these switches. The ground is only supporting the LED in the switch. Load wires need to reflect distance and amperage of circuit. I ran 4 ground circuits for the switches in 18 GA, where the hot LOAD wires were 12 and 14 GA because they were switching significant wattage circuits.
