These things are HUGE! I bought these thinking they would be okay to place outside my front door and one by the patio door. I was shocked when I opened the box at the size. These could be used in 20 foot tall ceilings of shopping stores. I started to mount one by the front door until I realized how ridiculous it looked. Maybe if you have a mansion or need for commercial use, they would be okay. But if I were an intruder and saw these at a typical home, I would know right away they were fake because no one would ever use these for that purpose. These are also what you would expect to see as interior cams and not outdoors. I know some parking lots have similar ones but they are PARKING LOTS, not your front porch. I actually laughed when I started to mount because of how silly they looked. I'm not suggesting they don't serve a purpose but make sure you buy for the right type of structure. In other words, if you live in a normal home or apartment, you may as well put a sign on these that say "I'm fake, come on in!" I'll give them three stars because they do actually look like cams, assuming you're in a football stadium.

Way to large for the area I needed to place them. The biggest reason I sent them back was because the light only came on at night to give the appearance of recording.....I needed it on 24/7 both Day and Night....people steal during the day too.....so they give the impression of recording during the day...plus they were a bit flimsy.

Had my neighbors all asking who installed my security system! Lol! Does a great job. The adhesive it comes with is not very good so I suggest you glue or get heavy duty locking Velcro
