Great item! Works as described with zero issues!
I have an older 2010 car that only contains an AUX jack and no USB port. I purchased this device so I could charge my iPhone 7 and listen to Pandora while driving. Since I like to use Google Maps while driving for traffic updates which is a battery intensive app this item is perfect to allow me to keep my phone charged and listen to Pandora or podcasts while driving.I received the item today and have been testing it in my home and so far I am very satisfied with it. I was concerned with this device possibly introducing noise, humming, or clicking sounds into the audio when headphones or the car radio is connected and so far I hear nothing. The music comes out clear with no distortion. I tested it in my car as well as with my Westone W20 earbuds which are very sensitive to line noise. Some other products that have a lighting port and a AUX jack can introduce audio noise into the car radio or headphones if the components are not properly grounded or lack interference shielding. Unfortunately, this is not something you can determine unless you actually use the product. Since this Belkin product just has two lighting ports this should not occur if you use Apple approved lighting cables and lighting to 3.5 mm audio jack adapters which is what I plan on doing.I will be leaving this item in my car 100% of the time. I live in Houston and I am curious to how well this product will hold up in very hot weather we get in the summertime. Belkin failed to provide any information about the heat or cold resistance of the product on their website. However, it has a two year warranty which is great so I won't have to worry about buying a new one if the Houston heat does end up breaking it. Hopefully, it will be fine but I will make sure to update my review if that is not the case.

Works with no hassle-- unlike cheaper earbud adapters
Yes, these cost more than many competitors when I bought them a month ago-- but having tried the competitors in the past, these are the way to go. These work every time they are plugged in with no hassle. On the other hand, with the cheaper knock-offs, sometimes they'd work and sometimes they wouldn't. When the cheaper ones didn't work, sometimes unplugging the cable and plugging it back in worked-- and sometimes it didn't. Sometimes restarting the phone got them to work again-- and sometimes it didn't. Sometimes swapping for another cheap pair (because hey, they are so cheap, they came in a packet of two) would work for a while, until the phone went to sleep and I'd be playing the game of plugging and unplugging again.Save yourself the hassle of not having earbuds that work when you want them to. Buy a decent adapter-- like this one.

Still working! Whew!
Under heavy use for the past 4 months, it still works great. Discovered my generic lightning cable stopped working with it, but switched it out with something else and Belkin was still working. Most durable compared to any splitter I've used - don't bother buying the generic ones. The Belkin Rockstar did cost the most so i did expect a lot.I use my splitter on multiple occasions, normally recording audio and video songs while plugged onto a power source. The sound or charging sometimes isn't automatic if you plug in the power/headphones after plugging in the rockstar ; you'll need to unplug and plug the rockstar again. I’m also usually charging overnight as I’m watching movies on my phone before going to sleep.Lately, I have been using my Lamicall phone holder over my headrest /bed frame and my iPhone XR is hanging at a 35-40degree angle, the belkin rockstar plugged thru the bottom hole of the phone holder and both charging cable and iphone headphones plugged in. I’m not sure if the splitter at an angle with the wire slightly bent is able to withstand the pressure. Maybe Belkin can clarify if the Rockstar can be used at an angle. All in all, it works, probably the best out in the market of power+audio splitters (i’ve purchased 4 cheap ones that last a week or less). Now if only they created lightning cable splitters for multiple earphones...

Very good quality MFI accessory. Does not work with Shure MVi
Used the other version of this Belkin adapter that has the 3.5mm plus lightning to solve a car audio problem and it works excellent.Learned the hard way that the Belkin MFI certified stuff works where as the non certified adapters are a complete waste of money. If they work at all, functionality will not last long term.Purchased this version in hopes it would work with the Shure MVi Shure MVi Digital Audio Interface + USB & Lightning Cableaudio interface which requires lighting for power and audio,Thought it might allow use of the MVi through one lighting port and charge through the other. Unfortunately it did not. MVi is not recognized at all when the adapter is in line. Will still use the adapter for calls and to listen to wired headphones while charging at the same time. Thanks to Apple's infinite wisdom, this gaggle of dongles (RockStar Adapter to Apple Lighting Headphone Adapter plus the lightning power cord) is about the only way to do this.Lastly, the image on Amazon makes this unit look a LOT larger than it actually is. In reality, the bottom rectangular portion is only 1" x 1.5" x .25" and is not all that obtrusive.
